Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow Review

I received one of these eyeshadow quads as a freebie for spending over $65 on revlon products. At first I was excited to try it because I had only tried the revlon creme eyeshadows before and I love a lot of other revlon products. These eyeshadows were disappointing. They are rather powdery and hard to apply compared with others I have tried and there is very little pigmentation to the colours. I also highly doubt these will last 16 hours on your eyelids

These exceptional pallets come with a lovely matte crease colour . Brow high light , and two blend-able complementary shades these eyeshadows have great pigmentation I am not sure if they lasted 16 hours but I don't usually wear makeup for that long .So not a problem for me . I used a primer which I use everyday anyway . Sleek smooth easy to use compact , with great easy to use instructions on the back as a guide or create your own look . I don't use the foam applicator as I find it ineffective . I use a eyeshadow brush instead . A little goes a very long way , these eyeshadows are very soft and smooth and make for an easy application . I was first drawn to to the gorgeous neutral shade pallets, but after seeing the other impressive creative colour combination I now own 3 of these quads 530 Seductive ,540 Ispired , 595 Harmonious. 4.8grams of product ( they are going to last for ages) Love them all wish I had more .

I love that it is so easy to use as it has the 4 colours and instructions on where to place these colours to create a look.

Definitely doesn't last 16 hours, maybe 5 if you're lucky. Quite crumbly/chalky. I like how it has the guide on the back for where to apply and it is a good mix of colours but its definitely not quality eye shadow.

I received this is a gift with purchase and finally cracked it open last week. I was so excited to finally learn how to apply eyeshadow correctly and learnt that I'd been putting the darkest colour in the wrong spot since I was a teenager - whoops! The instructions were easy to understand and the eyeshadow glided on nicely. The look was subtle, yet sophisticated. A look I prefer as I don't like going to playgroups or the grocery store looking like I'm about to head out for a night on the razz. As for 16 Hours? To be honest I couldn't comment as I have no reason to wear makeup that long - but I can say that it passes the 10 hour test. The only negative I could find is that the pigment isn't great. So if for some mad reason I were to find myself heading out for the night and wanted to make my eyes pop I would use another eyeshadow from a different range rather than this one.

I received this as a free bee with purchase. I was excited to try it out as I had never used a Revlon eye shadow before. I was very disappointed, the pigmentation wasn't good nor did it last. It would be ok for a very natural day time look. However I would recommend using an eye primer first as it has the tendency to crease to. I will continue to use relvon just not there eye shadows

Such a good pallet to have for everyday. It does fade throughout the day but i find that with most eyeshadows. Really flattering colours though.

I used to use these eyeshadows daily before I knew any better! They are poorly pigmented, a bit chalky (lots of fall out) and crease easily.

I use this eyeshadow almost everyday (in the exact pallete pictured) and I love it.The colours are nice and strong and it does stay on all day. Nice and easy to apply too, goes on smoothly and easily.

Well, it does crease and fade near the end of the day, but the colours are beautiful, they are soft and all compliment each other well. The one I have is quite sparkly and sometimes the sparkles manage to get onto my cheeks and all that, but the actual colour stays put. I use these when I want a nice natural look (Can't remember the name of the one I have, but is very similar to the picture here)
