It's slightly translucent and not as opaque as I'd hoped. I needed three layers before the colour looked even. Chipped quite easily even though I had top coat over it but that might be because I play piano.

Reviews
I have used revlon nail polishes for years. I remember my first, it was a lovely cherry red colour, gorgeous! Anyway right now is not a time to go down memory lane!
These polishes do require a few coats to get the rich colour in the bottle, but it is worth it! It applies evenly and cleanly with not a brush stroke in sight, I dont know about you but brush strokes are my pet peeve when it comes to nail polish!
I find I can get two days without chipping with no base or top coat, I can get about 5 days with a top coat which is usually about the time a nail colour starts to bore me and gets changed
I like the brush and the formula is a little runny, but they do last a long time before getting gluggy and unusable,BONUS!!
Is this the best nail polish out there? No, it is not Is this the worst nail polish out there? No, it is not
Personally I like them, and will continue to use them as I have for years
these nail polishes are very opaque and lasts for quite a long time without chipping, the brush also makes them easy to apply. for the price I think they are pretty good value for money as they are decent quality and come in many different shades.
Tips: definitely use a base polish especially for darker/more pigmented colours, as these can stain your nails.
Very nice nail polish. Simple color but easy to apply. High quality and reliable. Still a bit expensive though but worth it if you use it all the time and use up the whole bottle.
My nails are quite curved and 99% of nail polish tends to chip in just a few hours, whether or not I use a top coat. My number one nail polish for staying on is definitely OPI, but a close second is Revlon. The colours are great, and while it chips quick ish, it stays on longer than most other brands. The price is good for what you get.
Tips: Not sure if they still sell them, but the quick dry polishes do dry quick but tend to chip quicker.
I have managed to find some of the most amazing colours within this range. I find you need 3 coats however to achieve good coverage otherwise it's a bit too "see through" No problems with brush marks and find it really easy to apply. For me it lasts quite a while, which I love.
Bold claims with the ten days of lasting colour and shine 4-5 days max (with Revlon base and top) before chipping, cracking and peeling occurs. Dries well and applies easily. Easy to remove and doesn't stain. Revlon has a great range of colours (and scents) and are great for the price of them (used to have to pay so much more for them)
Tips: 2 coats is enough with some colours but find 3 is better.
Great range, good quality, gorgeous colours and so cheap!! They wear really well too, and with an added clear coat on top, they'll last even longer.
I'm very separated when it comes to this review. I own quite a few revlon nail enamels (over 10) as they are reasonably cheap. (around $6). However I never know whether I'll like it when buying it. This is because about 3 of my colours I absolutely love the consistency of, and they last without chipping for about a week. However the other colours are horrible. They chip the day of painting, they take several coats to gain full colour, and are a runny consistency.
Tips: Use a nice base coat and it will usually turn out with a better finish.
As it is an enamel and not a polish, it is a bit more difficult to work with.
The bottle is nice and classy, with a nice long handle for the brush making it easy to work with. The brush is nice and thin as well which makes it easy to guide where the polish goes, but where I normally need 3 strokes to cover my nail, I need about 5 to cover my nail with this.
Now as it is an enamel, it is more runnier, so I find that it drips from the brush really easily, and when you try to wipe the excess off, there is hardly any left on the brush to coat your nails.
I also find that I need a good 3-5 coats of this polish for it to be really opaque.
And it doesn't last very long, while it doesn't chip, it starts to fade from the nail tip almost as soon as it's dry.
It also takes a LONG time to dry. So long that when you try putting on a second coat, it smudges the first, even when I've waited 5 minutes.
