Easy to use, just glides on, has an spf 27 and stays on well throughout the day, it replaced my favourite foundation Shiesdo, so very pleased with it and would recommend

I'd recommend this product as a concealer. Easy to spread with a brush. Leaves a nice finish and lasts all day. Easy to use and lasts a long time. However I wouldn't use this product as a full face foundation as it's quite thick, and wouldn't last long being such a small sized product
Tips: Use as concealer
Unlike the other two reviews, I actually love this foundation. I use this for work because it's easy to apply on public transport (I'm that person, but I'm not sorrry). I've used this with and without primer, but I find that it does work better with primer (I use porefessional). I usually swipe on the skin and blend with a sponge, before topping with powder. During the weekend I will sometimes use this on the areas I need to cover most (spots and chin) then use a light BB cream over top on parts that don't need much coverage.
I haven't actually tried it for photography, to see if it lives up to the name :P But I know that it doesn't have the sparkly finish that the other photoready foundation does.
I was looking for a new foundation and found this I had to get it!However its not something Id use as a foundation due to how it blends.Personally I think it blends better and covers more when being used as a concealer on or under foundation.
Like many of the BR babes, I'm a sucker for new products. When I spotted this one in store I decided that it was something I just HAD to try. Unfortunately, it is a product that I won't be repurchasing.
This is a foundation in a stick. It is solid and can be wiped over the face before being blended in. However not a lot of blending can occur with a product that is so far from creamy. There are various ways that you can use this product. I have tried using it four ways.
1) As an all-over foundation, onto a moisturised but not primed base. In short, this doesn't work. It is very difficult to blend, even on my moisturised, normal-oily skin. I can only imagine dragging this product across dry skin. The end result is a patchy, medium coverage base with major issues around the jawline and other areas that need serious blending.
2) As an all-over foundation with primer. This works slightly better, particularly with a smooth, silicone primer. It blends better, but is still patchy. This doesn't work for the full coverage based I am striving for, but may work if you could match your skin tone perfectly and were just using it on some areas of the face, such a redness around the nose.
3). Combining with a primer and liquid foundation/BB cream. This option works best for me. First, I apply a thin layer of BB cream or liquid foundation over primer, taking care to get an even, blended finish. I then go in with the Revlon Foundation Stick and blend it over the foundation/BB cream, particularly on areas where I like more coverage. This provides a base that makes it easier to blend the Revlon Foundation Stick.
4) Revlon recommends this product for touch ups during the day. My thoughts on this option.. NO WAY. This 100% does not work for me. Applying this thick, heavy and unblendable foundation over top of a full coverage base that has been set with powder, 5 hours later? It's a mess. And luckily, I figured it would be so I tried it just before I was planning on washing my makeup off.
Although it can be used many ways, this product is ultimately a medium coverage foundation that feels thick and heavy. It is incredibly difficult to blend, and does not have a place in my beauty routine.
Tips: This isn't really a product that can be sampled, but you could try it on your hand in store to get a feel of it.
Disclaimer before I start my review: I bought this product to use solely as a touch-up foundation for during the day at work. I would give it a lower rating as a full base product.
I recently started a new job working 8:30 - 5 in a stuffy environment, and was finding that by early afternoon my Estee Lauder Double Wear was just not quite doing the trick! My skin was getting red, patchy, and a bit oily. So I visited my pharmacy to see what stick foundation options they had, hoping to find something I could take to work to use for touch ups. This was actually the only stick foundation I could find! Luckily they had my shade (Vanilla, a great match for pale skin) and I gave it a go.
I'm overall very impressed with this product! It does what I need it to, and is great for touch ups at work. The packaging makes it easy to throw in my hand bag and it doesn't require any application brushes or sponges. It's generally just a really convenient product :)
