Rimmel Colour Precise Eyeliner Review

I bought this awhile back and it was brand new however, it's the most unpigmented felt tip liner I have ever gotten. It's black but due to the lack of pigment the swipe comes out more sheer than the bold black I was looking for. The felt tip was long but came to a fine point. It was firm but the tip was flexible so I could get a decent line. I did like that near the top of the marker there was an area that was easier to grip but that's where my appreciation for this product ends. The pen was very dry even though it was bought new and when I tried go over the same spots to correct the line it went patchy. The wear time on this wasn't good either it was already a sheer line so with oily lids it fades even more. Now I could've just gotten a dud but I've had liquid liner felt tip pens that I've used and kept much longer than recommended and they still performed really well so I don't know what was wrong with this one or if it's dried out. Just not what I expected. Using liquid liner gives a bold sharp line this doesn't. I guess if you're looking for a crisp line that's super sharp but you don't want it really black and dark, maybe this caters to you. But really the staying power of this this isn't good and it fades, so I'd think you'd have better luck with a sharpened eye pencil. I won't be repurchasing this or recommending this.

While it isn't quite as budge proof as it says this is an amazing eyeliner. It is a felt tip style but with an amazingly fine point that makes it great for narrow lines. I got the white as part of a Best Beauty Box Ever box (can't remember which one) and loved it so much I ran out the same day to buy the black. Said black liner is still going strong 9 months later. Like all liquid products you do have to make sure it is dry before you blink or it will smudge. It also tends to fade off on long humid days but it doesn't melt all over the place like some eye liners can. For the price and ease of buying it is a great product and looks a lot more expensive than it is!
