Tips: use the side of the brush, not the tip, gives you a more precise and crisp winged eyeliner.
I own a few eyeliners, and have been through many since i started wearing make up.
I bought this on sale at Farmers, simply because it had a think applicator. It comes in a normal looking bottle, nothing unique.
My favourite thing about this eyeliner is the brush. It is thin, which i find great when i'm doing a small thin line instead of a heavy one.
The colour is very pigmented, and looks really nice on. Instead of having to go over it a few times to make it dark, its good to only have to do it once.
I wouldnt say its very good when it comes to lasting all day. After a few hours it does start to wear off and look faded. So you will need to touch it up often.
Over all i do think this product is good, and i will use it again when i'm going for a more natural look.
I'm no expert when it comes to applying eye liners! in fact pretty amateur really but I was able to use Rimmel liquid eye liner without any major crisis. Its got a fine brush which can be a pain if you already have dark skin tone so need to apply a few times/lines for it to be visible. otherwise a good product - doesnt bleed half way through the day nor does it smudge like some other brands of liquid liners I've used.
This product did deliver what it said it would. It lasted well, didn't smudge once it had dried and the brush did produce a fine line. However it took quite awhile to dry properly and the brush made it a bit tricky to create a thicker line that was easily matched on both eyes. I am a painter so I have a steady hand. I can imagine it would take some practice to master the use of this products brush. From an artistic perspective it was a lovely brush to draw pictures with. :-)
Tips: Take your time and do not rush the application. It is a liquid therefore requires drying time.
When i first apply this eyeliner (every single time) i get so excited about how beautifully it applies to my eyes. I can achieve the perfect cat eye and all its amazing. Very dark and pigmented and i rarely have any mistakes made with this brush applicator unttilllll.... I feel if i wear this any more than 4 hours, the eye liner completely begins to crumble off my face which is such a shame! I want to love it so much and do continue to use it but it really doesn't have the staying power i am after which is a real shame. Still half love this product.
Tips: I do find (which is kinda a hassle) if i apply a slight amount of gel eyeliner over the top of my PERFECT winged eye it does stay forever, but then i guess it would be the gel doing that and not so much this eyeliner... does give perfect wings though.
I bought this liner on a whim. It has a very fine brush, which is awesome for really fine lines and detailed work. The formula has great pigmentation, but is quite liquidy and takes a while to dry. I also find that it occasionally stings my lids when I apply it.
If you are planning on using liquid eyeliner for the first time this is not the product for you. Its a good product but very easy to make mistakes.
Tips: If you do plan on using this product, use the connect the dots technique: Instead of doing one sweep do small lines and connect them together; this will keep you from doing any mistakes and i suggest doing this technique until you are confident with the product.
I love the cat-eye look, and this one works perfectly for me. Love it. Makes my eyes pop and gives them a bit of an edge.
Ive been using this eyeliner for about 4 months but im still undecided about it. I normally use eyeliners with a more sturdy applicator and this one is very thin and extremely flexible. It lasts very well through the night, and I like how thin the applicator is but I'm just unsure if I like how flexible it is, I think I personally prefer a more sturdy applicator.
So I decided to try something a little more experimental then my usual eye liner which has been in pencil form since I started wearing makeup.
It took a bit of practice which I don't believe is a representation of the product but more my lack of liquid eye liner experience. Things did get messy and I did have to practice practice practice.
I did notice though that even though I was taking it on and off and on and off it wasn't smudgy at all and seemed to dry quickly.
I prefer the look of liquid eyeliner as it seems to give a more classy finish, where it stays for the duration of the day and doesn't smudge out at the ends.
I might try another eyeliner because if you blink all of a sudden or like me and wear glasses you might accidentally mis-line and it's hard to get off and start again!
Tips: Practice makes perfect. Also I think I need a magnified mirror to help see what I'm doing better!
