I go through phases with powders. Do I prefer loose or pressed? Do I like coloured or transclucent better? Well that was all before I tried this product! This is the PERFECT powder for setting your makeup with. It goes on smoothly and feels weightless on. It sets everything in place nicely so it won't move. This is my favourite powder!

Rimmel London Match Perfect Loose Powder Review
Want the London look? This loose powder blends well, looks natural and gives you a nice glow! It takes off ALL your shine, making your skin look flawless. It never settles into fine lines, and leaves the skin looking silky. The shade; Transparent, can be used on any skin tone. It's really great if you often change colour (in terms of tan): you won't have to worry about changing all your make-up to match.

I bought this little baby back in December when I was looking for a loose powder for setting. I currently have it in 001 Transparent. I ended up seeing this was on sale, and I've had no regrets since!
Whenever I use my concealer to highlight my face, I use this powder to set/bake, and it blends everything together so seamlessly. Also, it literally lasts all day at work, and does not crease! I've had a particularly bad red blemish right between my brows so I've been concealing it then using this loose powder over it. By the time I get home it's still in tact, so that's around 10 hours later which is pretty darn impressive to me! Highly recommend this as an affordable drugstore setting powder.
Tips: use a beauty blender or blending sponge to dab over concealer for baking. After a few minutes, brush off excess and you will have a perfect seamless base.
This is such a great translucent powder, especially for the price!
I turn the container upside down and take the lid off like that, which leaves a good amount of product to use in the lid. I lightly tap a big fluffy brush in, tap off the excess and the dust onto my face! The smallest amount of product goes such a long way and it honestly feels like nothing on my skin.
I find it sets my foundation really well and bronzers/blushes apply over it really nicely.
The product lasts SO LONG and it is such an affordable price! Rimmel always have deals on at Farmers etc too so you can get it even cheaper. Definitely worth having in your makeup bag!
Tips: Tap off excess product and use less at first!
I brought this powder in translucent after looking at a ton of reviews on here.
The powder is is a nice big clear plastic container with a blue lid. The powder inside is plentiful, fine and has a shell pink tinge.
On the face however it is transluncent to white, depending on how thickly you apply it.
In terms of longevity, it last well, maybe 6 to 8 hours. It is particularly effective when paired with a primer and long wearing foundation.
In terms of setting, it sets the make up beautifully and it keeps the make up in place for sometime.
Tips: Being a powder, I always flick some on my clothes when brushing it on my face, so with a special occasion outfit or more delicate clothing, I recommend applying the powder before putting on your going out outfit.
I use this translucent powder to set under my eyes. Being that I'm so pale I can't use most products like banana powders etc and this is a great option. I always find that whenever I don't use this, my mascara from my bottom lash line always transfers and I look like a hot mess.
So glad I found the little tub. As everyone has said - a little goes a long way. I have had mine for over 8 months and I use it religiously and am only about halfway through.
It really does set my cake in place and also mattifies it quite nicely. Will definitely repurchase.
Tips: If you are hesitant to get this product - wait until it comes on sale as most places will have Rimmel on sale around once a month.
This makes my skin look so good and feel soft. I use this over setting spray to make my face feel less tacky and also look less shiny and it stays on all day and I don't need to add another layer. It's also light so I don't feel like I'm wearing an extra layer. I find that not much is needed to cover my face. It does come with a little pad applocator thing but I prefer to use a brush. The product also has a piece of plastic between the lid and powder with holes in it which prevents too much product from being used which is great but when I first got it I struggled a bit to pull the plastic off of the holes (to stop powder going everywhere during transportation etc) but that's just because I didnt see the plastic.
This is a great affordable setting powder! A little bit definitely goes a long way, after applying my foundation or concealer I just pat this on the parts that I feel I need to set (which for me is generally my whole face lol) and then I just go back and buff it in. For me my face can get quite oily, but I find that this powder makes my makeup look acceptable for a longer period of time than any other affordable powder.
Tips: This brand goes on sale super frequently, so if you're hesitant to try then just wait for a sale :)
I’ve never really been one for using powders as I find my skin getting really dry especially in winter . I saw this in the last beauty vault and randomly decided to chuck it in the bag . Rimmel is a well known drugstore brand , I was happy to give this one a try .
Packaging comes in clear container . Had the blue lid with Rimmel labelling . I got the translucent powder . I was hesitant thinking it might be too light for my skin. Consistency is super soft powder loose in consistency. There’s no scent at all . Application I like to use my Kabuki brush dip it in tap excess off and lightly go over my skin lightly .
After trying this I was amazed at how well it blended in with my foundation . I thought it my be too light for me but it seems to blend well . It made my foundation last super long throughout the day . I’m happy with the results . I’d happily use it again .
This is the perfect setting powder. I use it to set my under eye area and I've never had it get cakey or move about. A little goes a long way with this powder. I would recommend tapping off excess before applying.
I have 001 Transparent. I'm super pale so thought transparent would be a good choice so it doesn't alter the colour of my foundation.
I really like this powder! I set my undereyes with it and it works really well. It's lightweight and doesn't make me look cakey.
I tipped in my ELF HD underye setting powder into this powder and it has given it a slightly luminous look which I really love. Perfect for under the eyes or all over. I typically dust it under my eyes and in my T zone.
I've used this whole product up so I really did like it. I'm trying the Hourglass powders to set next so we'll have to see how they compare!
