I bought this lipstick from an online cosmetics sale in the colour 'Rose Sorbet'. In the bullet it looks like a bright blue-based pink with a satin finish, but when applied the colour is a lot more muted, almost like your lips but pinker.
I quite like the packaging, the metallic purple and silver is really eye-catching and makes it a lot easier to find in amongst all my other lippies.
This lipstick claims to be super moisturising and it really does live up to these claims! The formula is really creamy and when applied to clean, dry lips felt really hydrating, like a balm which I was really impressed with as in winter my lips dry out a lot and I'm constantly having to apply moisture.
It may just be the particular shade I have or the finish of the lipstick which was a satin, but I found the pigmentation really wasn't that good, I had expected something lovely and vibrant but instead I had to layer it up to get a part-way decent colour pay-off. This only lasted on my lips a couple of hours without eating before I had to reapply.
There are so many drugstore lipsticks available out there and unfortunately this one just doesn't do it for me so I'll be passing it along.
One thing that I really don't like with this product is it has that "old lady" scent. I usually don't mind when make up has scents but this one bothers me quite a bit. Good thing is, it really does hydrate my lips but I find that it doesn't have good pigmentation as I have to apply a few coats before I get the desired amount of colour on my lips. I'd say this is a pretty average lipstick.
