This is my first experience with a Rimmel foundation and I'm impressed. The formula and finish of this actually reminds me a lot of the Chanel Aqua Lumiere- a nice dupe if you're looking! The blend of the foundation is pretty seamless, I've had no streaking or oxidising and the shade I selected (103 True Ivory) is an excellent match. SPF 25 is a nice bonus and there's no white cast at all.
It's a liquid formula which dries down well and I've been able to use powder blush on top without pushing around the foundation. It's also quite sheer in terms of coverage. I found it evened out my skin and then I'd go over any trouble areas with a concealer to boost coverage where I wanted it. Definitely not a heavy coverage foundation so look elsewhere if that's what you need.
Overall, a lovely product and one I'll recommend and purchase again
I tend to shy away from 'foundation' as such, as I don't like the 'heavy, clogged, caked on' look that so many of them have. When I put my hand up for the trial team I was drawn to the medium coverage aspect of this product. As well as the 'lasting radiance' claim - who doesn't want to look radiant?!
Well this product certainly does what it promises. The foundation goes on so smoothly and is almost instantly absorbed. It is weightless and my skin feels like it I'm not wearing foundation on at all.
The coverage is sheer enough to not have the caked on look, but at the same time it evens out my skin tone and makes my skin sparkle with the radiance pearls - giving it a radiant look.
Used in conjunction with the primer I only needed two small squirts of the product to adequately cover my whole face and blend in to my neck. Definitely economical in that respect. There is an extremely mild and pleasant smell to it which is also a plus.
I also like the bright orange lid, which makes it easy to find in my makeup case.
Overall I would be happy to recommend this product and would definitely consider purchasing it once my trial bottle runs out.
