I own almost the entire range of these eyeliners. They're incredibly versatile and long wearing, as well as being soft, creamy and pigmented. These eyeliners are toted as dupes for NARS, Stila and the Urban Decay 24/7 Liners. If you've been looking for a nice skin coloured eye liner for your waterline to make your eyes pop, the Rimmel pencil in "Nude" is a definite dupe for the Stila Kohl Kajal eye pencil in "Topaz" as well as the NARS Larger than Life pencil in "Rue Bonaparte" The pencil in "Taupe" is my favourite for in the lash line when I need something to balance out my eye look without being intense, but I can also see how it could be a good eyebrow pencil for those who have fairer hair, although I'd say its slightly too creamy despite how good the colour would be. These can also be used as eyeshadow bases in a pinch, as their consistency reminds me of the Stila smudge pencils, so theyre incredibly versatile.
These pencils do have a certain amount of drying time in which you can smudge the pencils out, but once they have set, they will not budge. If you suffer from watery eyes, you will definitely get less longevity in the wear of these pencils in your waterline but I would still expect at least two hours. Sometimes this product can build up once worn off in the inner tearduct of my eye but that happens with almost anything I put on my eyes. The products themselves are incredibly soft, so theres no scratching of the product on the more delicate parts of the eyes, but they do need to be sharpened, which may be an issue if you worry about product waste. I honestly think the packaging is pretty run of the mill, its not bad at all with the caps of my eyeliners still in perfect condition.
All in all I reckon its one of those things you have to buy for yourself and try out as they'll be different for everyone, but if you're in the market for some new eyeliners definitely check these out
These eyeliner have just reminded me why i love rimmel so much as a low cost high quality brand. I use these eyeliners daily especially the Nude one which i use to cancel out any redness on my waterline, which instantly makes me look more awake and gives me this gorgeous doe eyed effect. I use the black on for any big night out because it stays put and doesn't smudge which is a must for me. I also switch my look up with smudging either the Taupe one or Bronze one into my lower lash line to create a more smokey eyed effect. For the price these are well worth trying out!!
Tips: Use a small eyeshadow brush to smudge into your lower lash line to create a whole new dimension to your eyeshadow look. My favourite colour to do this with is the Taupe one.
