I picked this up on sale from Farmers for $12, so cheap! I had high hopes for this but unfortunately it was not good on my skin.
I like the squeezy tube as it makes it easy to get the right amount of product out, I selected the shade ivory which was a tad dark for my complexion. I tried applying several ways, it looked great for about an hour but then I looked like a cakey mess.
It settled into my pores and really badly around my nose. It felt heavy and mask like. Each time I put this on I couldn't wait to take it off again. I would not recommend for dry skin. Not a good foundation for me.
Im going to be blunt, I do not like this foundation. I know so many people rave about it, but i found that it just didnt suit me. I find this product is just a lawyer on my skin and doesn't blend into my skin after awhile it made my face look very dry and patchy and I could feel it on my skin. Which I do not like when it comes to foundations. I ended up giving it to my friends mother because I just couldn't find a way for it to work with my skin.
I absolutely hated this product. It claims to be a 'matte' foundation however my skin goes very oily after only a few hours. When I apply the product, it goes very streaky from my brush and then when I try and blend it in with a beauty blender, it is very difficult to blend as it is very stiff on the skin to begin with. When I add powder over top, it looks even worse because the powder doesn't really stick on the foundation well. (I have tried multiple different powders with it.) Definitely don't recommend it to anybody.
This makeup is only good for people who have very very clean, blemish free skin. It is probably a medium coverage, but when you have any pimples or scarring, it shows through and looks cakey even when its not. Even though it does have a very nice matte finish, it look a bit plastic-like so I only wore it a few times until I bought some new foundation to wear instead of this one.
Tips: Looks amazing on my friend who has very clear, smooth, pale skin!
I bought this in the colour 201 classic beige thinking that this would be an okay colour, the packaging makes it hard to try and copier match so just picked the one I thought would be closest. However this turned out too look very pinky on my skin and it made me look just odd. I mean, I can still use it but I'd have to do some mixing with some other products and even then, it is such a time hassle. However the formula of this is great as it does turn out very matte and is perfect for anyone with oily skin, but be aware that if you have a dry patch, it probably will stick to that and then it becomes very obvious. The formula itself is very thick and not as funny as I prefer my foundations but still works nicely once I mix it with other products
Tips: More for pinky undertones and not yellow
I brought this before i had to go out and needed a cheap foundation. Its okay, for its price its an okay foundation. But i felt it just went on a bit heavy and it was really easy to make it go on uneven, im defintley a liquid foundation girl so maybe that was it. However when i did manage to get the hang of it it did create quite a flawless look but felt quite heavy and cloggy.
Tips: Use a blender to apply it defintley helps
I heard great things about this but I was disappointed, it felt really cakey and heavy. It was hard to blend and it did not sit right with my acne and scarring. I would not recommend this to people who have acne scarring or breakouts.
I waiver between dewy finish and matte finish for my foundations, but this matte foundation had some great reviews, and wasn't a pricey purchase so felt it was worth a go.
This foundation had a good range of shades available, and the ivory shade was perfect for my skin - not too pale or white. It is a thick foundation, and covered my complexion well, but it also has the downfall of filling wrinkles, and when its set, those wrinkles then crack and the look just isn't my thing.
I found the foundation very drying on my skin as well, and left my face feeling tight while the foundation was on. It was a relief to remove it at the end of the day. This would be a great foundation for oily skin.
Not one I'd repurchase unfortunately.
This foundation did not work for me at all! But i really wish it did. I had heard so much about it so i had to try it and for $17 why not?
So i got the color natural beige (thats what color i usually am in drugstore foundation). It was about 2 shades to dark lol and it was way to pink.
The formula was really gross too. It was a thick gluggy mousse kind of texture. It was difficult to blend out and didn't sit nicely at all. Not to mention it oxidized on my face almost instantly!
I really wish i had more luck with this foundation but unfortunately it isnt for me.
