Been using this for years i only use on my eye lids now for a base for my eye makeup as found i prefer loose powder with a brush on my face now and prefer the Natio loose powder. Rimmell is a good brand but have moved onto other brands now
I use this powder daily and love it, only downfall is that it’s not the best coverage for a full glam look
I only use this on special occasions to set my foundation. It took away some shine but sometimes it made a odd texture on my face- probably my fault.
This powder is great in not only translucent but also in the coloured powders. When I'm wanting a basic everyday makeup look I use this on top of BB cream. Gives a really great look and doesn't look too cakey on my skin. It really helps my oily skin look matte and controls my shine. However It doesn't last my entire day. Definitely not something I would use though if i'm looking to have a really flawless makeup look when going out.
Tips: Good for everyday, would recommend a more full coverage higher quality powder for flawless looks.
I used to think this was the best powder in town, keeping me fairly matte for the majority of the day but the packaging was off putting and I couldn't carry it in my bag so I switched back to my Maybelline shine control powder in the blue compact and only then did I realize how cakey and heavy this Rimmel powder was. So this once HG worthy product has now been retired for extremely hot and oily days at the back of my draw.
This product is a average for me, yes it's good at setting my make up and yes it is matte but I feel it doesn't last and my current product I use has a much better finish, in saying that this is a cheaper product, if used lightly and reapplied if needed it will do the job it's a product that will last you longer then the packaging no doubt though sadly, needs to be in proper compact but can't complain too much as it is cheap!!
IThis is the only powder I've tried so far. I purchased it because of the UK youtube beauty gurus raving about it. It doesn't completely mattify my skin, although I like that, I just expected it to make a big difference in the finish, it just a good setting powder for me really.
I don't really understand why people love this so much. I mean yes, its awesome because its one of the few pressed powders not to result in cakeyness with no powdery face but i didn't think it benefited my makeup at all. With or without this powder my makeup stayed the same, i don't think it prolonged the wear of my makeup, no coverage - i do get its not meant for that, didn't keep me matte all day. Basically, i could go without it.Still prefer my MAC MSFN.
I have used this powder a few times in my years of makeup, It has been available since i was a teenager. I find it is fantastic as a setting-powder but i wouldn't use it on it's own It smooths my foundation, covers my imperfections, and mattifys it for a nice smooth coverage. I didn't find it was too cakey, but there isn't enough of it haha! Too soon did I hit pan. But luckily the purchase price was reasonable and the warehouse stocks this and often they have 25% off so that's the time to buy this! I would repurchase this
