I'm a sucker for a good deal and when I saw this at farmers for $40 I couldn't resist, even though I really do not need another perfume not until I at least finish off what I already have.... So I could have been ready for it in another life!
The bottle is rather cool though I think it could have been partly the reason why I liked it. It's a black glass oval shape and when I look at it, it reminds me of skimming stones across the river and lake when we were kids, although rather large it just looks like a skimming stone. It also had the words Roberto Cavalli printed in gold on the bottle and the gold lid matches perfectly with the Roberto Cavalli logo.
When I first sprayed it, it reminded me a bit of Armani Si, and almost a wee bit masculine but then you get quite a vanilla hit then as it dries it's a woody, sweet scent with a touch of spice. It's a very warm fragrance that is perfect for any occasion. It's not a strong fragrance that will get you noticed, but much more of a subtle fragrance. It lasts a good 6 hours on my skin and it doesn't transfer to my clothes like some of my other fragrances.
This is a nice fragrance and I was so happy when I found it at such an affordable price. Would I repurchase? Probably not only because I only repurchase fragrances that I absolutely love to bits and this doesn't quite fit into that category.
It's feminine and smells intoxicating, I can never get enough. Great for everyday use - more of an autumn/winter fragrance or at night. I have purchased several bottles, its not too sweet and is well balanced, it doesn't smell cheap or common.
Tips: Buy a big bottle, you'll be using it a lot.
