Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs

I have naturally quite tanned skin in summer and it's a glow I try to maintain all year round with a little bit of self-tanning help. At times when I haven't had the time to fake tan, or am going out spur-of-the-moment and will be baring some skin, I like to use this for an added glow.

It applies using a spray formula which is really beginner friendly and good for those hard-to-reach places. The resulting colour is very natural-looking on me, a top up of my tan that helps hide any imperfections. The formula is very fast-drying so no waiting about before you get ready. It's really my secret weapon when I'm wearing a dress and want to feel confident in it!

The downside of this product is how messy it is, it really gets all over the floor when applying it as well as all over the shower when washing it off, staining the surface until you clean it off properly.

Although I prefer a self-tan, this is a great product when you're needing extra colour in a pinch so it's nice having a bottle available in times of need.

This is one of those things I always have on hand. Perfection in a can. Really truly does everything it says it will. It's a quick top up to strap marks in summer or a, make you feel good when showing "winter skin" in those sunless months. The price is right for this must have! For a tan in a can, you will also be happy to know that you won't find any orange tinge to your skin!

I decided to give this a whirl as I was often wearing office type skirts to work and I really hate pantyhose/stockings (im always putting holes in them plus I hate the skirt sticking to the stocking feeling!) anyway this was supposed to give you flawless legs so I thought why not !?. I’m very pale and fake tan is often a struggle on my skin it never looks quite right. I have come to learn to love my pale skin but it does meant that things show up very easily like bruises (I am also very clumsy) and any discolorations.

This is packaged in a fake tan type spray can. I treated this exactly like I would a spray tan and made sure I shaved, exfoliated and moisturised my legs to give them the best start possible.

This sprayed on really easily I just applied as I would a fake tan sprayed and rubbed into my legs. Your supposed to spray on your hands and apply direclty to your legs and feet but I always just sprayed directly onto the legs and made sure to blend and rub in.

It’s a really lightweight formula and felt fresh on my legs. It looked fresh on my legs to !! it looked like my legs just a 1000 times better !. Its like giving yourself barbie legs – well as barbie as your legs will ever look . Its odorless which is a bonus.

It just gave my leg a wonderful fresh clean less discoloured and blemished look it really is an airbrush. It does have a slight sheen (which is why it makes me think of barbie legs) but it doesn’t have glitter so I really liked this. I felt like it made my legs look a little thinner – in saying that I feel like this with fake tan to.

This washes off easily and I had no problems with any residue transferring onto sheets or anything ( and I have light cream coloured sheets ).

All in all I loved this product and would highly recommend

This stuff is perfect if you want a tan, and you want it fast. I brought the medium colour and I personally felt that it was quite orangey, I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have hoped for the price. I think $30 is quite pricey for this product, especially considering how much you actually get. Probably wouldn't repurchase in a hurry, would rather just use a tan and wait for it to develop.

I bought this as an alternative to a fake tan since I hadn't come across a good one yet.

I wore this to a food and wine festival so it needed to last all day and boy did it what!

The application is easy enough, just spray a spot on and rub it in - it spreads pretty easy.

It did get a little patchy around the toes so if you're wearing open toed sandals or something that shoes your tootsies off, I'd recommend rubbing this in really well.

It looks like you're wearing a pair of stockings. Seriously!

The colour was quite natural and it photographs really well.

Only downside is it washes off with the smallest amount of water, so if you're out in the rain - say hello to stripey legs.

It's also a little on the expensive side for the amount of product you use per application.

This stuff is incredible - I wear it pretty much everyday! It makes my legs look flawless and gives them a beautiful faint shimmer too. Its in a spraycan type container and I just spray it on and rub it in. Couldn't be easier! I also have a friend who has vitiligo and she uses it everywhere when shes wearing dresses etc. in the summer. Couldn't rate this product highly enough!

I love love love this product. Best instant tan on the market, rubs in easy and does seem to give that 'flawless' look like foundation coverage for your face! Obviously like most tans you should wait 10 minutes before getting changed and yes white clothes may stain, but perfect for a night out in your little black dress!

This product truly does 'airbrush' my legs. I fake tan my neck, arms and stomach weekly but I skip out my legs as it just never applies well. 99% of the time this doesn't matter as my legs are covered at work but when I do decide to go out without my legs uncovered I am faced with a nicely tanned upper half paired with ghostly white legs. The Sally Hansen Airbrush legs takes them from white to deeply and evenly tanned in a matter of minutes. They appear airbrushed and thinner which is absolutely perfect. I use the medium shade to match my fake tan which I love but this wouldn't look overly natural if that is what you are wanting to achieve.

The downside to this product is it's tendency to transfer onto clothing, seats etc. It might be water resistant but you will leave behind a lovely little 'foundation' looking imprint if you sit down in a car or at a cafe for too long. I am always careful to wear something that will cover underneath me when I'm sitting down.

I actually prefer this product on its second day. I will apply it day one and then shower that night or the next morning without using body wash or scrubbing my legs. The top layer of product washes of leaving behind a more natural looking tan that doesn't transfer like the first day tan.

This product will put an amazing touch on a day at the races or a night out, as it makes you feel thin and airbrushed.

This is like foundation for your legs!! It hides blemishes and makes your leg look smooth. This product is easy to use but it is a bit pricey. Would recommend this for parties!

This is so easy to use, it applies evenly with no streaking and doesnt go that gaudy orange colour, its a very natural colour. Really great tanning product, Love it for a night out or covering up pasty white legs
