Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs

Was ok if your only spraying small areas but hard to get even all over legs, pretty much use the whole bottle

I purchased this as I had heard so many good things but was really disappointed. It did look good one on but I found it quite hard to apply to get a good even finish and then when washing off it made such a mess and got stains on my towels.

I used this as an alternative to fake tan when I had a wedding to go to and my legs needed just a hint of colour. It was great! It went on evenly and easy and my legs looked amazing. However. I was wearing a cream coloured dressed and yes I made sure my legs were dry before putting it on. This stuff had rubbed off my legs and onto my beautiful dress by the end of the night and it never came out! Threw it away the next day and never purchased again

i used this once and didnt really like it. It gave good coverage but I felt like i was wearing stockings with the way it looked. I'm not sure if it was how i applied it or not but it wasnt for me. Also stay clear of water whether its out in the rain or in the bathroom. It goes patchy, not a great look.

I've always got a stash of this product in my bathroom cabinet, as its so good for those times I need some colour on my pasty legs and I need it ASAP.

The packaging comes in a can with a spray nozzle. To me this packaging is cute and retro, I love it!

The formula is perfect for when you don't have the time to fake tan but need some colour and tan on your legs. The coverage is great and hides any blemishes. It instantly transforms my legs from pasty white to a lovely tan glow. It looks great and similar to if you have panty hose on.

I just used this recently when I was about to head out in 3/4 pants and got a shock when I looked at the ghostly white colour of my legs. I needed something asap, and Sally Hansen came to the rescue again.

The negative about this product is the complete mess it makes. My bathroom is white, white paint and the walls and white tiles, so application in there is definitely not a good idea!

So, when I need to apply this I have to head outside and apply this to my bare legs. The spray is very messy and gets absolutely everywhere.

If I have time I much prefer a proper fake tan, as the formula lasts for over a week, whereas this washes off at the end of the day. Also, with fake tanning you can apply this inside, without having to venture outside due to the application being so messy!

Also, it says its transfer resistant but I find the formula to slightly rub off on my clothes. So, whenever I need to apply this I ensure I wear black.

Overall, a good product when you need a tan ASAP, but fake tanner is much more efficient and easier to apply.

I have naturally quite tanned skin in summer and it's a glow I try to maintain all year round with a little bit of self-tanning help. At times when I haven't had the time to fake tan, or am going out spur-of-the-moment and will be baring some skin, I like to use this for an added glow.

It applies using a spray formula which is really beginner friendly and good for those hard-to-reach places. The resulting colour is very natural-looking on me, a top up of my tan that helps hide any imperfections. The formula is very fast-drying so no waiting about before you get ready. It's really my secret weapon when I'm wearing a dress and want to feel confident in it!

The downside of this product is how messy it is, it really gets all over the floor when applying it as well as all over the shower when washing it off, staining the surface until you clean it off properly.

Although I prefer a self-tan, this is a great product when you're needing extra colour in a pinch so it's nice having a bottle available in times of need.

I purchased this product because I'd seen a lot of positive reviews of this product on the internet. I guess I expected too much. The reviewers were younger than I am and I have quite noticeable spider veins on my calves that I thought it would cover up. To be fair the product probably does make the spider veins seem a little less noticeable but my problem with it is this, to cover the veins you need to apply a lot of product and then you end up with a strange dusty greyish brown effect on the legs which doesn't seem natural. My answer to the problem has been to use this product in conjunction with St Tropez wash off tanner (Instant Glow Body Lotion) I tan the legs with well rubbed in St Tropez and then apply Sally Hansen to the problem areas and blend it in to look as natural looking as I can make it. But I am definitely on the lookout for a creamier or more natural looking product. This is just in the ok - not marvellous bracket for me.

This spray is easy to use and is thin enough that the nozzle doesn't block up on it like some others. You get an instant colour so it's easy to see where you've already sprayed. It spreads easily on the skin, but you have to be quick as it can dry quickly.

The result is slightly shimmery, which is not really my cup of tea, and I find it starts to streak if it's really hot. I don't feel like it covers anything up. However, it doesn't come off onto clothes, which is always a plus.
