I bought a couple of these to try out a little while ago and I don't think I would buy them again unless they were on special. I found them kinda tricky to apply (especially my right hand!) but once you get the hang of it it's not too bad. They chipped off like a normal nail polish and I found them hard to remove - I ended up picking them off (how bad is that?!) I would now use them for a feature nail but not for a whole mani, it's too much effort.

They were ok.... if you get someone else to apply them! To do it yourself it is very hard and tricky and doesnt really save time at all. On the upside though I found that it has really good staying power lasting over a week without chipping for me!
I have mixed feelings about this product. Sometimes I absolutely love it other times i just want to throw it at the wall. These can be really tricky to apply. I have repurchased this product countless times sometimes it has been a breeze to apply other times it just doesnt work at all. I dony know whether it is a different formulation for each pattern but everytime I have applied these it has been a different experience. None of them have lasted a full ten days like it claims it should. The longest it has lasted was probably around five...and thata with chipping. The upside to this product is that there is no drying time!! And there are so many cool designs to choose from.
Tips: Dont use a top coat. It doesn't make it last any longer if anything it makes it chip/ peel off faster
I liked the idea of these, however i found them difficult, the tips weren't very easy to stick on, but i'd definitely try the normal patterned ones, because they work well :)
Love the idea of these but were tricky to get on right. Took a long time and would have probably been easier to just paint them plain lol
Tips: Try revlons ones
I got given these as a birthday present a little while ago and thought I'd do a review on this beauty product. Its quick, easy and you wait no time for it to dry! It's easy to remove which is good for me because normal nail polish leaves bits left over on my skin. I found this product to be really good for my nails, and it's good for people that are not very skillfull using normal nail polish, as it can be a tricky thing! It's like going to the salon, only in the comfort of your home!
Tips: I would advise you to not leave them in the sun or not use them for long periods of time as they dry out over time and then they are not useable.
I found these on clearance at Postie and picked up two colours, I had heard loads of people raving about them and was super excited to try them out!
Unfortunately, I tried to apply one pack to my nails and the strips were very stiff and hard to apply. Maybe I just had a dud pack but I still wasn't very impressed.
I tried the other pack later and they were super easy to apply and looked like I had been to a salon! My nails were super glossy and a gorgeous neon pink, I got so many compliments on them!
However just a few days later they started to chip off and had tiny hairline cracks through them, which was rather strange. I took them off that night with polish remover and they came off really easy with no damage to my nails.
I would try these again, however I just couldn't justify paying full price for them if they only last a few days.
I had to grab these as soon as I saw they had skull and crossbones patterns :D I've used nail strips before so I didn't have any issues applying them - they were easier than some other brands I have used.
I find that with all nail strips they last a lot longer on your toenails.
These stuck down well to my nails and didn't leave any gaping sides. I put a topcoat over them and they lasted about a week before starting to come off, which is a lot better than the OPI ones I tried...
I will purchase these again and recommend them to everyone! Everyone should try them as they're so easy to use and come in a variety of designs.
The only thing I didn't like is there aren't a whole heap of designs that personally attract me but I am picky :P
Tips: Look out for these at Postie Plus to get them cheaper :)
I went to one of those big bucket makeup sales and the diagonal checker strips were like $2!! I though meh why not aye!?
Really super easy to apply I just washed my hands and made sure they were dry and clean, you choose the size best suited to your nail bed, lay down flat and I just sort of pulled over the edge of my nail and it just snaps off , easy peasy!!
Then you just press them down all over your nail and make sure any free edge is nicely tucked under your nails. You can file off any over hang if need be.
I got a lot of comment on how good they looked. My nails were just about 3 mms free edge growth so they looked good on short nails too.
I work in retail and am always using my hands to rip up boxes, replenish shoes on the shelves etc. Barely any lifting from the strips and no chipping.
They last about 10 days before I had to change them. So I was impressed!!
Id definitely use them again , they are quick and easy to apply.
Tips: Go slowly and only use the right size.
If you're careful enough you can get another set out of the strips.
I saw these and thought what a great way to cut down on nail painting efforts and time. Unfortunately they are extremely fiddley to put on and I could find the right size for my nails, which was a little disappointing as they aren't cheap. Once I had applied them which I wasn't able to do perfectly there were wrinkles everywhere :-(
Tips: Stick with nail polish ladies it more cost effective, user friendly and lasts longer
