I have mixed feelings about this product. Sometimes I absolutely love it other times i just want to throw it at the wall. These can be really tricky to apply. I have repurchased this product countless times sometimes it has been a breeze to apply other times it just doesnt work at all. I dony know whether it is a different formulation for each pattern but everytime I have applied these it has been a different experience. None of them have lasted a full ten days like it claims it should. The longest it has lasted was probably around five...and thata with chipping. The upside to this product is that there is no drying time!! And there are so many cool designs to choose from.

Tips: Dont use a top coat. It doesn't make it last any longer if anything it makes it chip/ peel off faster
I bought these at a recent make up sale, I had tried them before, and they hadn't worked very well, so thought I'd try again. Only they weren't any better this time. These would be good for a night out, or for someone who is really gentle with their nails, they claim to last up to 10 days, mine lasted about 2 days before I was getting really irritated with the chipping and peeling. I has put a top coat over them and over the tips of my nails, but that still didn't help them stay on any longer. I wouldn't spend my money on these again, would rather just paint my nails.
Tips: My friend has just used them, and she put a base coat under them and they have been on a few days and still looking near perfect, so maybe that is what is needed.
I personally love doing my nails and having cool new designs on them so i was really excited about this product! Unfortunately i was very disappointed, the strips weren't easy to use and very fiddly when applying them. The nail strip didnt fit my nail so it was a mission trying to shape it to fit. In the end i just painted them with normal nail polish, A LOT easier!
Was really excited to recieve these but man what a fiddle, they really werent sticky enough to stick and extremely fiddly to apply. I did one hand by myself and got help from a beautician friend and she had the same trouble as me, just not sticky enough. Very disappointed.
I was really excited to review these as I LOVE nail stickers/strips but these were unfortunately a massive fail! For starters they weren't sticky enough which made the whole process extremely fiddly and then when I was done about 4-5 of them came off straight away. I sadly really cannot recommend these.
Tips: If you are going to use them, watch some youtube videos first as it made the whole process a lot clearer.
I liked the idea of these, however i found them difficult, the tips weren't very easy to stick on, but i'd definitely try the normal patterned ones, because they work well :)
I was granted an opportunity to try the 'Steel of the Night' colour of Sally Hansen stick on nails, which is similar to a French manicure, but with grey/silver tips. In case you were wondering, this is really nail polish. It even smells like nail polish.
To begin with I found the instructions slightly confusing, fortunately there are 16 tips in the box (two to one strip) so if you waste a one or two (as I did) it won't be a problem. Once I got going I found that this skill was much easier to learn than with a bottle of nail polish and the finish resulted in beautiful clean cut lines. I also really liked not having to wait for the product to dry because often when painting my nails I start doing something else and ruin them.
So overall I really liked this product and though it took a little getting used to, it was easy to use. One thing I will say is that you end up with a lot of rubbish at the end of it. But for a professional looking finish the product it worth the price.
Tips: Rubbing nail polish over the nail creates heat and helps it to stick on. If you find that your nails are a bit narrower than the strips given, try using the cuticle stick to cut around the edges which cannot be reached with the nail file and tidy it.
I really hate having to give these a bad review but unfortunately i have to :(
The kit includes a cuticle stick, a nail file/buffer, clear nail polish strips ("the top coat") and black colored tip strips. Just so you know, the strips are the same consistency as stickers....
I found these extremely complicated to apply to my nails, and it took soooo long, nearly an hour!
I received the french mani pack, which meant i had to first apply a black strip to the tips of my nail, and then apply after that a clear "top coat" strip to the entire nail, filing them both around the sides to the shape of the nail to remove the excess strip.
Not sure if it was just my pack, or if i read the instructions wrong, but i only received eight of the black nail tip strips, meaning there wasn't enough for all ten of my nails :(
The black tips didn't want to stick to my nails, they kept shifting around, and when I tried to file them down they fell off and were unusable after that.
The clear topcoat strip also was difficult to apply, and seemed to bubble at the tips of the nail.
It was also difficult to find sizes that fitted all of my nails (maybe my nails are just weird sizes...).
Mine definitely didn't last ten days as i had to take them off immediately as to me these look tacky if they are not perfected and don't fit perfectly to the nail.
Tips: Maybe practice makes perfect? And maybe the nail strips with the designs on them that Sally Hansen also sells wont be as difficult to apply as the French Mani ones :)
I bought a couple of these to try out a little while ago and I don't think I would buy them again unless they were on special. I found them kinda tricky to apply (especially my right hand!) but once you get the hang of it it's not too bad. They chipped off like a normal nail polish and I found them hard to remove - I ended up picking them off (how bad is that?!) I would now use them for a feature nail but not for a whole mani, it's too much effort.
