Schick Hydro Silk Razor Review

I have very sensitive skin all razors give me shaving rash no matter what kind I use or how many blades there are.. ive been using this one for a couple of days now and it seems to be working perfect!! It shaves closely and glides perfect.. I love it!!!

I really like these razors. I use them in the shower with shaving gel. They do the job efficiently and easily. Very long lasting as well. Will buy again.

I'm pretty useless at shaving, always cutting myself or missing patches! So i was pretty excited to be selected for this trial.

After opening the packet I was instantly pleased that it had a casing for the head as in the past I have used similar razors that have lost their moisture strip far too quickly because they didn't have nay proper protection. The handle is nice and big as well so great for clumsy shavers like myself who are prone to slips!

The shaving experience itself was easy, safe and quick because the moisture strip means no need for shaving cream. The only concern I had was that it was hard to tell if I had missed a spot because the shea butter made my legs feel ridiculously silky.

Post- shave my legs feel nice and soft and super moisturised so definitely a good product and no cuts or scrapes thanks to the curve sensing blades!

The design of the shaver is really pretty and I love the travel cap as well! The grip is great and the blades are sharp. The contouring of the blade is great! The moisturising dots turns a bit soapy once in contact with water to provide a good slide for the blades. One down side is that it doesn't come with a shower holder.

I love that it is just one step and you have smooth legs, no messing around with body wash or shaving cream, just wet the blades and you're good to go!

This razor was the best one i have used for months. It was so smooth and easy to use. My legs felt silky smooth straight after. I noticed it was also a bit longer before i needed to shave again.

this is my favourite razor, i love how my legs feel afterwards,so silky smooth! and i find i dont have to shave everyday when using this razor either,which is great! love it! love the fact that i dont have to use shaving gel/cream aswell! awesome product

Really liked the way it felt in my hand with the nice handle it has. The razor didn't clump up with hair and did a great job. The head was also well designed for shaving under arms and legs etc.

The main advantage to this razor, as far as I can tell, is that it's virtually impossible to nick yourself with it. That contributes to its main disadvantage, again as far as I can tell, which is that it's not as close a shave as I'd like/am used to. I don't normally notice re-growth until at least two days (I have fair hair) - with this it was the next morning and even straight after the shave, I knew it wasn't the smooth I was used to (I sound like a C-grade ad now). Further, it doesn't cope with that level of re-growth (ie one or two days for me) - simply doesn't get to it.

Whilst the serum helps a little bit with dryness (so gets a bit for 'soft') it by no means removed the need for moisturiser for me. Given that it doesn't meet the mark for smooth, I'd rather save the extra money on this razor, and just use more moisturiser. I'll be shaving less so probably evens out on skin damage in the end.
