Schick Hydro Silk Razor Review

I normally use my husbands razors as I get a closer and better shave when shaving my legs, I received this in my sampleco box 2 weeks ago and was thrilled to try this new razor. It has 5 blades and outer piece that is like a boarder for the razors. The handle is shaped differently to normal razors, its more flatter.

It gives you a really close and smooth shave, I still get into the habit of exfoliating before shaving but it has a soapy strip to make it easier. The strip gets a bit gluey at times.

It gets all the hairs and its easy to clean, because it gives a close shave I do cut my legs at least once when I shave them which is quite unusual for me when I use a normal razor. I don't need to shave my legs as often as I would normally do with any other razor.

It is worth buying this razor if you can afford to, my husband is so happy because since I got this razor I don't use his razor anymore.

Really liked this shaver, loved the moisturiser on it which helped the skin to be smooth and helped to prevent dryness as my legs get very dry when I shave them!

i really like how smooth my skin is after using this razor, it doesnt seem to last long till it goes blunt though and i have to keep replacing the expensive blades

This is a great Razor i have bad itchy skin so sometimes can be bumpy but when i used this it made my skin so smooth and felt moisturized, it was actually that good my partner decided to use it for his beard and i found his hair in it haha, i had to give it to him and buy myself another. Would recommend it even to males my partner loved it too.

Firstly, this offer already put this company and its products in a better light for me because razors can be an expensive item in the weekly groceries, so its nice to be able to try the more expensive razors for free, before purchasing them for yourself.

So all my life, I’ve gone for cheap razor options, all disposable, and some which have not been very good for my sensitive legs, but when you’re a student you don’t have many options. This probably has to be one of the more expensive razors I have tried, and I think I brought it for about $16.00, which made me cringe … ekk! Lucky in the back on my mind, I knew I would get reimbursed for this purchase.

After opening the packaging, I was impressed immediately. The razor comes with an attachment which sticks to the shower wall and holds your razor for you! In a shower which my nieces sometimes use, it gives me piece of mind to know my razor is high up and out of reach of the younger children.

Additionally, the packaging contained another razor head, so when I could replace the blades when the first ones got dull.

Now the design of the razor, I love it. It has a blue handle which has a rubbery texture to it, making it so easy to hold and use with wet hands. The head of the blade connects to the handle in a way that allows the head to move easily over the curves on your body, especially knobble parts like your knees. My favourite thing about this product is the small thin gel like strip on the razor head which lets the razor glide smoothly and effortlessly over skin, and even feels nice on sensitive areas like under the arms. I also think this little strip is the reason my legs feel so silky smooth after getting out of the shower.

So is it worth the investment. Yes , yes and yes. It comes with two blade heads, so really you get two razors for the price of $16.00. Plus I’ve seen this product on special for $12.00 so I think il wait to purchase this when its on special, but I definitely will be repurchasing it.

This is a razor with a big fat awkward looking white head with five blades and a wee gel strip that helps the razor glide and we holes above the blades and beneath the blades full of a serum that helps moisturise my skin as I chop my hairs off at skin level. The head pivots and glides easily over my bony ankles and knobbly knees and moves easily under my arms, the blue rubber handle is so easy to hold with wet hands and comfortable to use. This comes with a spare razor head that's easy enough to change. And a holder for the shower I never use that. It did the job left me nice and smooth and no irritation from shaving. I put some pre shaving goodies on my parts I want to do and just slide this razor over my stubble, and it just chops it off nice and close. I find I always buy a new razor instead off new blades. Would I repurchase this yes, if it was on sale when I was due for a new one.

This is a really nice affordable razor. It leaves your skin smooth and silky. The handle is really nicely curved so it fits in your hand comfortably and is really easy to use. Really good at removing hair And just a good all round razor. I wild definitely recommend this razor!

Paired with a good shaving gel, works amazingly! But you need to be able to take your time else it is a total flop! One day, I used my husband's shaving gel and had about 10 minutes to shave my legs and they were silky smooth. Few days later, I only had about 2 minutes to quickly go over my legs and was a total fail! Although that could be down to my lack of skill...

Only issue I had was the moisturising bars disintegrated far too quickly for my liking, and we all know how expensive replacement blades are!

The grip on this is really good. Changing the blade is easy. The blade does get close to my skin. The shape of the blade is really good for all areas of shaving.

The only thing I have found to beat it is a man's razer. I'll continue to purchase these

This razor is amazing, not too badly priced. It glides on so smoothly and leaves your skin feeling so soft afterwards. I use this on its own, without any shaving cream and it works perfectly. The blades are really sharp so you don't need to go over the same spot. The blades also take a while to get blunt so you can use this over and over again before having to change.
