after using this shaver a couple of times was oky but after every use it started to downgrade for me. my legs aren't the best, and it doesn't help when you cop most of your Italian side, this shaver was enough for me and most of times made my legs feel absolutely smooth.

Was great for the first use. But finds it blunts rather fast. Dose a great close shave and leaves ur legs silky. Hydro bar doesn't last very long it drys and falls off. But over all not to bad. Not the cheapest to buy new blades cheaper to replace whole razor.
Tips: Change the blades often
I really like this razor. I've always been a fan of Schick anyway but I especially like this. No dry skin from shaving, no cuts & always a smooth close shave. My only complaint is the blades do not fit on my other Schick handle.
Tips: Use with Schick shaving mousse
I initially won one of these from Schick via a promotion. First time I used it I was amazed! My legs were smoother than they had ever been and I had a grand total of zero nicks in my leg, even near my knees where I often catch. The moisturising bars made it so silky and easy to use, and it felt wonderful. I used it quite a few times before the moisturising bar ran out, which made it a little more difficult and harsher to use, but I found the blades still sharp enough for shaving for a few more uses. I was excited to buy some new blades for it so I could keep using the razor... but they were so expensive! I had to pass and use something different for a while. I have since bought a new one of these as I loved it so much, it is such a shame that you need to spend so much out on the new blades.
Tips: Definitely pick blades/razor up when on serious special! It gets way too expensive :(
Really love this product and always purchase. Gives a really close shave and leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth. My underarms tend to be a bit of a tricky point for me, i'm prone to eczema- this razor doesn't irritate my under arms which is definitely a bonus for me!
Tips: I generally buy a new razor everytime..buying the blades for this one is quite costly!
This razor gives a really close shave, I never noticed any drying of my skin. I also never got a nick or slice using this razor! Which is great because I'm clumsy! It's very easy to grip and it glides over the skin and adapts very easy! It's good to get into hard to reach places too!
The Schick Hydro Silk Razor definitely gives a closer shave than any other razor on the market. This is due not only to the fact that it has the best blade layout but also because the handle allows for the best, most comfortable grip.
My only complaint with this product is that I've found that the 'Water-Activated Moisturising Serum' on the blade head makes any sort of shaving rash that I get post shave much worse. But as far as I'm concerned that's a small price to pay for the smoothest shave possible.
Really like this razor. I feel that the way it is designed, means you can shave quickly. It's easy told hold. Glides easy. Cuts close. With other razors you have to go slow to make sure you don't nic your skin.
The head removes easy & the refills are easy to use and attach.
Tips: When you pop off the used blade, attach the new blade, old blade goes into the holder (stops a accidental cut when taking to the rubbish bin)
I was given this razor as a freebie when I made a purchase at Wild Pair a couple of months ago. I saved it to take on holiday since it said it had a built in moisturising strip etc and was so disappointed. I used a shaving cream but it still felt like it was taking skin off my underarms, and left a big red rash. The damage wasn't quite so bad on my legs, but the moisture strip bit went all gloopy and basically fell off the razor anyway. I'm going back to stealing my husbands Mach 3 razors again! Glad I didn't pay for this one.
Yes, the 5 blades work incredibly well to create a close shave, but I found my skin just couldn't handle it and I was often left with sore skin or lots of little nicks. The little moisturising bars also disappeared after the second use which I found a bit disappointing. I would use again if my usual razors were unavailable but definitely not my first choice.
