Having been a shick intuition user for years, I was excited to give this a go being that it is much cheaper than my usual razor, however was left feeling slightly disappointed. I felt it dragged on my skin, and left it feeling slight raw and sore after use. I used conditioner with it for my legs (way less drying than soap!) and it still felt a bit rough on my skin - maybe it would work better with shaving cream? I will use this again in case of emergencies, but won't rush off to buy it.

So basically I asked my mother to bring me a razor one time when she visited at the end of winter and she chose this one because she figured it'd save me cash to buy the blades instead of disposable razors all of the time. First of all, the blades are freakin' expensive. I definitely think this product is effective, however and REALLY good for my underarms. I have a skin condition that reacts quite badly when I use disposable razors but I find with the way this one curves it's pretty easy to get to the hair without touching my condition. But for legs, this for me is a no no. No irritation? Um, yes irritation. My skin gets quite red and weird after using this on my legs. I also find that rather than preventing nicks and cuts, I get more cuts with this than past disposable razors. It does get close to the skin and it does effectively remove hair, I won't deny that. Also I find one blade can do both of my underarms and both of my legs, but then again I have never used this on full on leg hair (that's what my hair removal cream is for). Overall it works to remove hair, but I definitely wouldn't use it on my legs ever again. I also want to say that I really love the designs on my razor and the little case thing that sticks to the inside of my shower wall is super convenient.
a decent razor, however i find causes slight irritations and the hydro part disappears really quickly and is sticky and goopy not a fan i find it works much better once it has disappeared, the heads are also really expensive to repurchase
I often use this razor, I have a couple of different types and just buy blades for whatevers on special. This one works great, leaves legs and armpits nice and smooth. Also contours nicely in my armpits and I haven't cust myself using this razor. Only downside is that the strip goes quite sticky and gluggy...a bit like a rubberband thats melted to the windowsill in the sun. Other than that, not issues.
Tips: Keep blade up so sticky strip doesnt stick to anything or come off.
This is a razor with a big fat awkward looking white head with five blades and a wee gel strip that helps the razor glide and we holes above the blades and beneath the blades full of a serum that helps moisturise my skin as I chop my hairs off at skin level. The head pivots and glides easily over my bony ankles and knobbly knees and moves easily under my arms, the blue rubber handle is so easy to hold with wet hands and comfortable to use. This comes with a spare razor head that's easy enough to change. And a holder for the shower I never use that. It did the job left me nice and smooth and no irritation from shaving. I put some pre shaving goodies on my parts I want to do and just slide this razor over my stubble, and it just chops it off nice and close. I find I always buy a new razor instead off new blades. Would I repurchase this yes, if it was on sale when I was due for a new one.
I normally go for schick because their priced affordably. I was lucky to recieve a free sample from them earlier in the year. I would normally get them in my grocery shopping or when I go shopping at The Warehouse. Love going there because they have 25 to 30 percent off sales from time to time.
These shavers come in a packet. Inside is at least four shavers that can normally last me for just a little over a month with reuse. The Shaver itself has a smooth shaped head that easily glides along my skin. The handle of this shaver has good grip and is quite sturdy. With use of this shaver my legs felt so smooth. I didn't cut myself like I normally would with cheap shavers. I like to use these with Shick Shaving cream which gives my legs an extra feeling of hydration. I tried shaving without cream and my legs still felt smooth. Now it's claims for Hydration, my legs did feel smooth for about an hour and then they got dry.
My results were smooth and silky feeling legs. Definately felt smooth even without the use of shaving cream. Would definately buy them again because they get the job done at an affordable price.
I have been using this razor for probrably a couple of years now and it is the best I have found. It leaves my skin feeling moiturised with the built in moisture strips and the blades are great at removing all hair easily, leavin my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. The refill packs are quite expensive compared to some razors, but there are five in a pack and they do last for quite a long time. The only downfall is that occasionally the moisture strip (which is built into the razor head), will sometimes bleed out when left sitting in the shower, so that the next time you go to use it, there is just plastic scraping your skin. Other than that minor and occasional issue, this razor is the one I still use today and I love it.
I really like the Hydro Silk Razor and although I've had mine for ages, I've just gone back to using it after quite a few months of using another brand - I'm now wondering why I ever stopped using it! I think the main thing that stands out the most to me is the fact that this razor gives such a closer shave than any other brands I've used. I have to say the fact that this is the feminine version of male one with 5 blades had my attention straight away when I first found it in the supermarket - I know my husbands is good so surely the feminine version has to be as well was my first thought.
The blades on this razor last a considerable amount of time which makes it good value for money, although I think all razors are ridiculously priced!! I do find after using it a few times the moisturising bar eventually runs out and this happens long before the blade is blunt. It almost goes through a set pattern of it working really well for a few shaves, then it becomes a slimy mess for a few shaves and then suddenly it is all gone. This doesn't bug me too much but it just means I need to remember to use body wash once the moisturising bar is finished. It definitely shaves a lot smoother and has better results at the start of using a cartridge.
The Hydro silk has a great handle which fits my hand comfortably and means for easier shaving. I also like the way the head moves slightly - "curve sensing" - meaning awkward spots are made easier and no cutting yourself! In fact I don't think I have ever managed to cut myself with this razor which is quite a miracle - normally I am always cutting by my ankles or knees! On the whole, a great razor which suits me perfectly and I would recommend to others :)
This shaver is very affordable and works like a gem. After shaving you literally feel like a baby bottom. The shea butter back leave your skin feeling very hydrated also. I have very sensitive skin and can not use some shavers and they irritate my skin but this one is great for sensitive skin.
Tips: BUY IT! ITS AMAZING
I was really excited to try this razor. Schick is a good brand and Ireally needed a new razor. The first few times I used it I loved it. The stick to the wall mechanism was handy and it glided across very smoothly, leaving a silky gel like layer behind (the serum). The serum did not last very long and after that it became a very average razor. I often feel a bit of irritation after using it on my legs. It's better than a cheap disposable razor and I love razors you can buy new heads for. However to keep the razor silky, you'd be spending $20 on new heads every couple of months.
