Lush Lip Scrub Review

If you love all things sweet this is the perfect product for you! It comes in a really small, cute, and super handy glass jar, and it basically looks like pink sugar, and tastes just as good as it sounds! After scrubbing your lips to smoothness, the best part is getting to lick off the excess sugar and getting left with that amazing taste on your lips! I would definitely use this again, it has become part of my daily routine.

If you're a fan of all things bubblegum, you'll absolutely love this. I don't usually pick up on smells very well unless they're super strong and prominent - this is that completely. Luckily, I love bubblegum.

It's very tough on your lips, I will warn! It feels like rubbing everyday sugar straight onto your lips, so if yours are sensitive, I would steer clear and stick with a balm. But if you don't mind it, it does leave my lips very soft.

A big plus is that you can lick it off afterwards! I always try to not consume whatever I put on my lips, but this product explicitly tells you to eat it after you use it! Win win!

I picked this up after seeing a lot of rave reviews for it so I had to try it for myself and see what all the fuss was about!

It comes in a cute little glass jar with a black lid. What I do love about Lush products is they usually have the sticker on it that tells you who made it. I find this a very personal touch as you can see exactly who/where it is coming from.

The product itself is pink, it's essentially pink flavoured sugar with nice things added to make your lips gorgeous and smooth. I wasn't disappointed. It did what it said it would do. I find it works a bit better if you dampen your lips then put the lip scrub on and use your lips to buff it in by rubbing them together gently. Then just wash or lick it off. Then you get this relief of having gorgeously smooth lips! My fave part is putting on lip balm straight after onto smooth lips. I do this almost everyday to keep lips in tip top shape.

I would repurchase as it smells/tastes amazing and does exactly what it says. It is an essential in my routine!

I had a sweet lady send me a sweet ROAK which had the Lush lip scrub in there, this had been on my LUSH list for a while so I was super happy and excited that I could tick this off my list!

The jar is so cute! A little glass pot with sugary goodness filled to the top! The smell of bubblegum is delicious and alot nicer than I would expect, you dont know how good it smells until you smell it for yourself.

I love to use this before I wear liquid matte lipsticks, those lipsticks pick up every tiny speck of dry skin and the Lush lip scrub is perfect!

Normally I wet my lips slightly and scoop a tiny amount onto my 2 fingers and do small circular motions around my lips and along the lip lines, my problem areas are the corners of my mouth, the first few times I was so tempted to lick it off but the thought of eating dry skin gave me the hebby jebbys, so normally when I exfoliate my lips I lick off a small amount before I start scrubbing.

I rinse the scrub off with warm water, pat dry and use Tailor lip balm, after a few minutes I add my lipstick.

I am so excited to try the other Lip scrubs that LUSH has to offer, in the mean time I am so happy with the Bubblegum lip scrub.

The scrub tastes and smells amazing, and it really makes your lips feel replenished and fresh after using it. It is really good for in the wintertime when my lips get a bit chapped (and frankly not very kissable!). I just use this as part of a nightly skin routine and they are left feeling supple and lovely :)

It can however make a little bit of a mess but definitely worth adding to a beauty routine :)

I love this lip scrub its sweet an does its job great .It scrubs an buffs your lips to softness just as it says it will . i love the sweet candyfloss bubble gum smell .. its perfectly pink an sugary sweet. its hand made an vegan free . and best of all its self preserving. i love it an will repurchase forever.

I bought a tub of this in the flavour of Mint Julep in Lush's Boxing Day Sale. I'd heard so many good things about it I was dying to give it a go, and I'm glad I did, because it's rather lovely... or should that be Lushly?

It comes in a sturdy little glass pottle with a plastic top, and the product is packed in. I used my finger to dig into it (after cleansing my face at night, so presumably my fingers were clean, haha), and the scrub went all over my bathroom sink - not ideal, especially as it's not exactly a cheap product to buy, considering the amount you get for the price.

But enough of the negatives - this product smells delicious, all minty and sweet. Once on my finger I smoosh it backwards and forwards on my lips until they feel silky smooth, which takes 30 seconds, maybe less. And then I lick it off my lips and swallow the sweetness down. I don't know if this is ideal, but it's so yummy I can't stop myself. The morning after my lips still feel smooth, and primed for a bit of lippy.

So would I buy it again? On special, yes. Not on special, probably not. For me it's more of a luxury product - what I'm more likely to do is make my own vanilla sugar lip scrub and reuse the pot.

I was lucky enough to be given the mint julip lip scrub for christmas, and wow I absolutely love it. I love everything about it from the taste, smell, the cute little pottle, and of course, the end result.....

I adore anything mint so receiving a lip scrub in this flavour was a real bonus. When i opened the pot it was absolutely chocka block full of product, so I think it will last a very long time. The only thing I find a little bit awkward with it is that being sugar and not very oily it doesn't stick together very well.

I compensated for this by scooping a little into my palm and standing over the sink while rubbing it on my lips.

Once I got the hang of this and rubbed top and bottom lip I got hit with the gorgeous mint scent, and the nice refreshing feel of mint on my lips. You can taste the sugary sweetness while exfoliating; it's soooo good.

My favourite part about the routine is removing the exfoliant from my lips; I just lick it off. It's completely natural and safe so if you like sugar and you like mint, lick away. Otherwise you can just splash or wipe it off as you would any other product.

End result, lips weren't as dry feeling and the skin has been much softer and smoother = younger looking lips... win/win situation really. I will definitely be re-purchasing this lovely product.

I received the Cola Lip Scrub from Lush for Christmas and boy have I been left impressed! This little pottle of sugar and deliciousness packs a punch with it's exfoliant powers. You only need a little bit, rub it on/between your lips then you get to lick it off! It's a win-win, you get some sweetness and you end up with smooth lips ready for the most matte lipstick to look perfect!

I think that this product is a good idea and it really softens my lips and I do love how it leave my lips feeling! I can never stop licking my lips because they feel so amazing afterwards but the taste is just so so sweet which is a major put off for me! (I have the pink bubblegum flavour). I am going to have to try other flavours as this one isn't my style although I love what this product does to my lips. It makes lipstick go on nicer and not so dry and cracked looking aswell!
