I was a little surprised when the colour of the polish was more burgundy than the purple-red tones in the photo, however I was really amazing colour with this one. I was blown away at its colour. I did have to apply two coats to give it the best look as just one coat wasn't doing it for me (I usually do two anyway). I thought it was going to look rather dark, but it actually came out as a happy medium. I would definitely recommend this colour to anyone who wants a nice burgundy with a few surprises added in.

OPI Nail Lacquer Review

Tips: Two coats plus a top glossy coat to give this beauty maximum shine!
This is gorgeous! Makes me think of snow that I can paint onto my nails which is amazing as far as I'm concerned. Would definitely recommend this colour and the liquid sand range. Since I put it on it has not chipped at all - the initial sand finish has worn down a little, but still looks fantastic.
Tips: Best to put on two coats, as the label suggests, to get a good coverage.
Oh my gosh!! Such a lovely colour!
Applies nicely. Defiantly need 2 coats to start to see the nice colour come though.
Lasted on my nails a good week or so, I am at a computer all day though so if you are more active throughout the day you would not get the same wear as I do.
Does have a sandy finish as it states so if you are not keen on that easily just apply a clear top coat and your good to go!!
The Pink and Purple and are just as colourful and bright!!
Solitaire is rightly placed in the Bond Girl series. Its glittery, its posh, its classy and very wearable. Its a milky white sand finish polish, with tiny as silver and blue glitter. OPI has nailed this one. It wears really well. I didn't try it with a top coat as that will defy the purpose of sand finish. It suits my warm complexion perfectly. Its a unique one in my collection. definitely a must have!
Tips: double-coat please :)
This is quite a runny product, so it takes a while to apply as you also have to apply three layers to achieve the desired results. I absolutly LOVE the finished result, reminds me of a mid winter christmas and snow! :-)
Black is a recent nail polish colour, but is a look that has (surprisingly) established itself as a sophisticated statement.
I love Black Onyx, and it is one of the few OPI nail polishes I have that does not chip or peel. The finish has a great shine to it which brings it the touch of glamour it needs to not make the wearer look like they're in a mood!
I will often have to reshape my nails to use it though, as it looks best with short to medium length nails.
Tips: Have fun and use it to help create neat designs. I love making mod black-and-white looks with Black Onyx and Alpine Snow.
I absolutely love this nail polish! It is a great colour for any occasion. It applies well and has a great finish.
Tips: Work fast as it dries quickly. Also a second coat is definitely needed so it is the best it can be
The newest member of my OPI collection & definitely one of my faves!!! Colour is so fab for winter, goes on really nicely & stays put!!
OPI have really outdone themselves with this collection. It's easy to apply, dries incredibly fast, long lasting and above all: Looks amazing!
Tips: Not into the gritty finish? You can always throw on a layer of top coat to smooth it out and really bring out all the sparkles!
a gorgeous deep vampy colour, i fell in love with it straight away.
i find with most nail polish that it needs a few coats in order for the true colour to come out to its full potential. its gorgeous and i am very impressed with it.
the brush had a couple of loose bristles which initially caused a few pretty stripes on my fingers but they soon settled down and i found i can cover my nail in 3 brush swipes.
as for wear, i found it chipped really easily, i didnt use a top or base coat however so i think i will invest in both of these and see how i go from there.
Germani Cure is a colour id wear out on a fancy night, or cruise around town for coffee, it can match dressing up or down and i think it could look fantastic with a Matte coat over top as well.
Tips: stick with thin coats, they dry faster and you are less likely to get smudges, with this polish 3 thin coats gave me great colour and coverage
