This toothbrush gives an exceptional clean compared to even other electric toothbrush models. The charging travel case was so amazing while travelling in the USA. The spart plug it comes with allows you to plug it in with just a normal travel adapter, no need for one with a transformer to convert voltage. App connectivity is so handy and easy to use. I love you can customise the light ring colours also.

Love that it has an app to guide your clean and to give challenges to keep you going.Also Love that it comes with a travel container which is easy to just pop in your bag and away you go.Love it and definitely will recommend to family and friends.The round brush head from Oral-B is gentle and uses micro-vibrations. I felt the difference after even a single use, my Gums felt healthier, teeth felt cleaner and smoother, whole experience was amazing. The app on your phone is great, easy to learn and has an interactive brush handle. There are different brushing modes to use eg: a daily clean but if you have sensitive gums or teeth there is a sensitive mode to use. The brush handle is cute, it greets you when you turn it on, says goodbye, and gives a smile for a good job. Your app will let you know your brushing style and helps to guide you to cover all your teeth, so you never miss a spot.The prompts of extras are great aswell eg: flossing, mouth wash, tongue clean. Wow, what a toothbrush this is! I read the reviews and was sold on the toothbursh - it was on the Christmas Wishlist. THEN I got an email from the present fairies at Beauty Review to say I'd won one. Much excitement at our place, I can tell you! Its sleek, black shape with lights to show you when yove got it in the right position, is just beautiful. So, I've been using it for the past month and am very happy with the clean it does. I have receding gums which sometimes bled & felt like I could never quite get the clean 100% right. Well, as said above, it lights red when its not in the right position, so you can change the angle for a better clean. I really like the different programmes you can choose - 7 in all - eg, every day, sensitive teeth, whiten, extreme.... and two of my favouties - healthy gums and a tongue clean which I do at the end. It nags you to continue for at least 2 mins (a frowny face tells you when you've not done it long enough) and there are vibrations each 30 secs to let you know progress. This is great because I realised I wasn't cleaning for long enough before. And the best thing is that my receding gums seem to be reversing!!!!! I do also use a healthy mouth blend to help with this, but I'm sure the toothbrush is contributing a lot to healthier gums. There is an interactive App you can download to give you more features & information, but my Android phone wouldn't connect to it, so I can't comment on this. Others seem to have found it helpful. Maybe with an Apple?? The other thing is finding replacement heads. The box comes with 2 heads, so that's 6 months of cleaning. But, when I had a look around Christmas, no one (5 stores I went into) had stocks of the special toohbrush heads. You can't use the genercic ones, so these might be fairly costly. Maybe it was a supply issue, but if there are none to buy, then its just an expensive toy. The price caused me a real pause when I first looked at buying it - it seems an awful lot to pay full price. However, there seem to be ongoing bargains you can search out which make it much more affordable. Still an "investment" to buy. These pause points lost a point on the recommendation scale for me, but I'm still really liking the toothbrush & recommend it with these caviats.

Where to start. Firstly Thank You BR!! I have been using a manual toothbrush as my electric one is so old the battery wouldn't make it through 2mins brushing Packaging: It’s a lovely box and inside the toothbrush a sexy onyx black. Has a magnetic charger and a travel case/charger also. So cool! To get the full benefit of this toothbrush you need to download the app. I’m a tech type of person, but I found the pairing of the toothbrush to the app a bit tricky with my iPhone – but I got there eventually with persistence The toothbrush itself is very user friendly. Easy to select brushing modes and get on with brushing teeth. The toothbrush when brushing is so smooth compared to previous old toothbrushes I’ve used. It’s not overly clunky in the mouth, making your whole head vibrate. It efficiently cleans your teeth & gets in gaps with a robust vibration rather than shaking. It has 30sec warnings so you can concentrate brushing to quadrants to achieve the 2min brush if you don’t want the app to guide you. Cleaning the brush after is easy & I love the magnetic charging station as it doesn’t collect old toothpaste like other chargers do. The toothbrush paired with the app takes things to another level! You can set goals/challenges, after brushing it reminds you to brush your tongue, floss, mouth wash etc. & it gives you a ‘whiteness’ gauge to rate your teeth whiteness after every clean. It awards you medals etc. for brushing your teeth regularly & then the quality of brushing etc. which seems a bit gimmicky but it got me hooked lol … now addicted to achieving brushing medals. The App itself though is most useful I found for watching while you brush your teeth as it tells you how well you’re brushing with a gradient of blue colours up to white – & when you hit white you’ve cleaned those teeth enough, & then the game is get all your teeth in the graphic to turn from blue to white – another addictive ‘game’ in the app. Other useful parts to the app are Devices section – tells you how much brush time left on the brush head & gives you a date to replace the brush head. You can also set up brushing goals etc. It syncs to Apple Health if you’re a data geek like me that likes to track everything health related in one app – my scales & toothbrush are now besties in the bathroom! Love the toothbrush. The price point is high – but I did a little research & it can be found much cheaper online & probably in stores like farmers when they do those 50% off toothbrushes etc. It’s worth the purchase. My teeth feel much cleaner. You can feel it get into the gaps & best of all, I don’t have bleeding gums which my old toothbrush used to do. The Oral B will tell you by light on the brush, & in App if you’re pressing too hard at any point. Highly recommend this brush. It ticks lots of boxes for me including the geeky techy parts which really draw me in & ensure I’m brushing my teeth properly.

I must admit, I ditched my old electric toothbrush some time ago. It drove me mad because I felt I always had to recharge it, or it would run out halfway through a brush. It was clunky. It was loud. It wasn't an enjoyable cleaning experience. I didn't think I'd ever switch things up from a basic brush... until trialling the Oral-B iO Series 9 Electric Toothbrush.

First of all, everything about it is luxury. The packaging it comes in is sleek, the travel case is gorgeous, the magnetic charging stand looks great in the bathroom, I even appreciate that it has a container to store extra heads. It may be expensive (by most people's standards) but no expense was spared in the design.

I first tried the brush without the app to see how it cleaned, and OH MY GOSH, it was amazing. My teeth felt like they'd been to the dentists. What amazed me more was that the next morning they still felt clean. There was no morning fusty feeling. Amazing!!

After the initial brush I downloaded the app and used that while brushing my teeth. This really elevates the experience as I was able to see that I have a tendency to prefer brushing my right side over my left side of my mouth, and now I'm able to take the steps to rectify this. Also being able to see when I'm applying too much pressure has been so helpful.

The brush comes with many variations you can use - including daily clean, tongue cleaning, whitening and sensitive. I've since switched to the sensitive clean as my preferred option, and my teeth feel great for it.

Would I recommend this? Absolutely. Yes, it's initially quite expensive (and I'd wait for it to go on special before purchasing), but I do believe that in the long run it would help save money by keeping teeth cleaner, and therefore reducing the risk of costly fillings etc at the dentist.

This is a brilliant piece of technology and I'm so glad it's now part of my regime. Thank you Oral-B and Beauty Review!

After using manual toothbrushes for most of my life, I’ve finally tried an amazing electric toothbrush and I won’t be going back to manual anytime soon! My teeth have never felt cleaner and I haven’t experienced “fuzzy” feeling teeth since using this brush.

There is a mobile app available to download to use in conjunction with the toothbrush. I try to use the app when I have plenty of time as it will always result in a better clean, but you can still use the toothbrush without the app (which I typically do if I need to rush out the door!).

As you are using the toothbrush, the app will track in 3D which parts of your teeth you are brushing and the aim is to get a score of 100. It will display which section of your mouth you’re brushing and that section of your teeth will show as white with sparkles on the app when it’s fully clean. The app also ensures you’re brushing the front, back, and top/bottom of your teeth. I find that it typically takes around 2 minutes and 30 seconds to get a score of 100.

It tracks if you’re using too much pressure when brushing and will flash a red light. It also tracks in the app the length of time you’re using too much pressure and which areas of your mouth you are commonly applying too much pressure. The light will turn green when you’re applying the perfect amount of pressure, and white when you’re not using enough pressure.

The toothbrush includes different modes including Daily Clean, Sensitive, Super Sensitive, Whiten, Gum Care, Intense, and Tongue Clean. I try to use a different mode depending on the day, but so far the whiten mode and sensitive mode are my favourites.

The app encourages you to continue brushing with virtual medals you can win. For example, you’ll get one for brushing a score of 90 or more, 3 times in a row, and one for brushing your tongue for 3 days in a row. It’s a fun way to encourage you to brush!

I love that it buzzes with the lights changing colour to indicate every 30 seconds that pass. It means that you won’t over or under brush when you’re running late or when doing an unguided session without the app. It also serves as a reminder to switch to a different brushing zone.

The battery holds its charge incredibly well. I’ve been using the toothbrush for 10 days now and the battery is at approximately 50%. It comes with a toothbrush stand that doubles as a charger, though I don’t keep this in the bathroom as we don’t have any bathroom plugs. The toothbrush stands up on its own so you don’t need to keep it on the charger. The toothbrush comes with a travel case that also doubles as a charger, perfect for taking on holiday.

It is obviously more expensive than a regular/manual toothbrush, but it’s certainly a worthwhile investment especially if it results in less expense at the dentist. If you’re looking to upgrade to an electric toothbrush, I would highly recommend looking into the Oral-B iO Series 9. I won’t be going back to a manual toothbrush in a hurry!

I was lucky enough to be selected for the trial team for this super product. I will admit to having a certain degree of scepticism around the need for such a "fancy toothbrush", the price tag is on the high side and I did wonder how much better it could be than other electric toothbrushes I have tried that had less features and much smaller price points - I mean an electric toothbrush is an electric toothbrush right? Oh so very wrong was I! Right from the moment I opened the package I could see the quality in this product. The brush handle is a nice size and weight and has a decent sized LED display. The replaceable heads can be stored in the included container, and there is also a travel case (which can be plugged in and used to charge the brush). The charger is a really cool disc thing that the brush balances on and seemed to me to charge really quickly. It was hard to really gauge the speed of the chargers because even though I have been really putting the brush through its paces over the last week the battery is yet to drop below 50%. The brush itself is packed with features, like the colour ring on the brush handle that glows blue/green/red depending on whether you are achieving the correct pressure while brushing and the brush head that made my teeth feel at least as clean as professional cleans at the dentist. The brush has a timer that counts down the two minute brushing time, with a vibration every 30 secs so you can attack each quadrant in the mouth evenly. The Oral B app is where this brush really gets its WOW factor. My fave features are the reminder to replace your brush head and of course the 3D map of the mouth that has teeth that change colour and show you when all areas of the tooth have been brushed long enough. You can also use the History to map your progress over up to 3 months worth of data. If you are the competitive type then the Challenges will be right up your alley with "medals" awarded for different challenges with goals such as "fresh breath" and "whitening". There are many other features and options that I am sure I will discover with more usage but here are my Pros and Cons after one week of use Pros - The clean that you get was superior to any other toothbrush I have ever used. The brush held its charge really well and charges on the very cool looking charger quickly. I absolutely love this toothbrush! Where do I begin?! I have very sensitive gums that often bleed from brushing too hard with a manual toothbrush, I also have weak enamel and regularly get my teeth cleaned with the hygienist. My hygienist suggested I try an electric toothbrush so I can’t wait to tell him and my dentist how amazing this one is! I’m still getting through all of the features, so far I really love the super sensitive mode and gum care, the pressure sensor is really helpful and also the whitening works well, I am noticing a difference and seeing whiter, shinier teeth already! It feels like I have just had my teeth professionally cleaned. The app is awesome and I’m enjoying being able to track my brushing and personalise my settings, this toothbrush is next level amazing! I highly recommend it if you’re serious about having a professional clean feel and if you’d like all the amazing features including an awesome app, I use it on my iPhone and am super impressed, it is very easy to use and so useful. I love how it tells me if I have missed a spot when brushing, this is so great for ensuring no plaque remains and limits holes forming. I look forward to continued use and seeing all the ongoing features like being told when to change the toothbrush head and seeing a pattern of my brushing habits build up. It’s also super sleek and lovely to use, this is an incredible toothbrush for keeping my teeth on tip top shape and having a really healthy smile.

I can hands down say this is THE most amazing product i've used in a long time. I used to use a rechargeable toothbrush many years ago but then got out of the habit so I was intrigued to see if a bit of technology could make a difference.

Can it heck as like! This toothbrush is a sleek black number, it has many different settings depending on your cleaning need (whitening/sensitive/intense). It has a light on it which guides you to get the best position on each tooth and you can download an app which connects to the device and measures you how good your technique is and where you're missing out.

Having as an adult spent $1000's on orthodontics, and recently a complete teeth overhaul I cannot believe how amazing this product is. You seriously feel like you've been to the hygienist. It's also extremely addictive to use, try stop me cleaning after every meal now! Just to finish it off it has a gorgeous protective travelling case to stop it turning on in transit.

I love love LOVE it. Not cheap but it's an investment. Do it!
