I really like this foundation. It has a great coverage (medium I would say) and it is quite build-able. It also has a great staying power, it has always stayed looking much like it did when first applied in my experience, which is great. Terrible when your makeup looks great then after an hour of wear it looks terrible. Well that won't happen with this little gem. I find although it has good coverage it doesn't look cakey as long as it is buffed into the skin well. A great staple.

I started using this for school to give me good coverage as I had started breaking out in so many places and I thought that this would do the trick.
So I applied this daily and the coverage was amazing! but after a week or so, I started realllly breaking out and I realised that I hadn't fully been taking off the foundation so it had clogged the pores of my skin.
So I have limited myself to wearing it once in a while and getting myself a high quality makeup remover.
Tips: wear this foundation for only nights out or special occasions- not on a daily basis!
Awesome stuff! So easy to put on, perfect coverage, lasts all day, beautiful dewy finish, need I continue? And a bottle lasts a long time. I know I can trust Revlon Colorstay to do what it says it will, and it has all the complimentary products to go with it! Still looks good at 3am in the morning after a night out. My beauty therapist told me the chemicals used to make it 'colorstay' are really bad for your skin and they probably are, but my skin never suffered from using it. Love it!
I bought this for about a year before deciding it probably wasn't for me. It is a really great coverage and I liked that there was a decent amount of colours and shades to choose from, as I prefer more of a yellow base foundation and this had a good range.
It did last all day with minimal touching up to be done which I was pleased with
The price was good but my only problem was that I have very dry skin and this really did make it worse I found. Even with intense moisturising regimes I would end the day with my skin feeling so dehydrated and thick with color stay. This is ultimately why I changed but in saying that it is probably the perfect foundation with combination and oily skin types so each to their own.
Was a great foundation over all.
Tips: Go to farmers and ask the revlon assistant to apply a full face of colorstay foundation in the colour of your choice. Then wear it all day to see if this suits your skin type or not
This is perfect for me like the mac also is it gives me such a light finish an it isn't so oily and doesn't look so greasy on my skin. It sticks so well to my face and I lie how easy it is to carry around and apply. You don't even need to touch ups when you've been doing hard work or having a long day it stays on and doesn't smudge at all.
I've used Revlon Colourstay foundation pretty much since it was first released. Every now and then I try a different foundation that's new on the market, just to see if I'm missing out on anything. And every time I come back to my tried and true :) It gives great coverage without feeling like a mask - I feel like my skin can breathe when I'm wearing it. It blends well (no obvious tide mark, yay!) and the consistency is a smooth, creamy liquid. You don't need a lot to get a natural, even looking coverage. And no fears of it rubbing off on clothes (or people!). It has no real scent to speak of. Love this product.
Tips: It holds up well on its own, but some may like to use pressed powder over top for night time use, or for thicker coverage.
I really love this product! I use it everyday and it is yet to let me down. Natural beige is the perfect colour for my skin and I love the new pump for easy application. One pump does my whole face and neck!
Tips: When coming into summer ill add a darker coloured foundation to my Revlon Colorstay to make it slightly darker.
People say this is a dupe for mac foundation and class it as full coverage However I found this more light to med coverage I apply this with a beauty blender and it takes a good 3 layers to get to a medium coverage The packaging is quite nice in a glass bottle with a black lid I do wish it had a pump as I always get way more than I need and find it unhygienic without a pump
I have dry to normal skin and this is fine with not highlighting dry patches I properly wouldn't use it again unless I had to I think here's far better options out there for half the price of this c
I have used this product for at least 10 years. I am still impressed by the finish and how long lasting it is. I have often tried other products but have never been happy so have returned to the Revlon colour stay. Recently I did try max factor lasting performance and really liked it. It lasted well and was slightly lighter that the Revlon brand. I now use Max and my day product and Revlon colour stay when I want a more intense coverage. I think as you age the lighter product can sometime look better and not accentuate the wrinkles as much.
Tips: Put on right after you moisturiser it seems to blend better.
This was my go to foundation for years, until I decided to go for something a bit cheaper recently. I really miss colourstay and will be switching back to it for my next bottle. It gives the right amount of coverage without looking too caked on and blends perfectly into my skin
