I rarely wear powder as I have dry skin and it gives me instant cake face. But with the super hot summer we have been having I needed a little something to pop on top of my BB cream. After reading a few reviews this seemed like a great powder to start with.
I purchased the powder in translucent which cost around $14. The packaging is not the best. I find the plastic lid cracks easily so you have to be careful if you want to throw it in your bag.
I really like how this makes my skin look quite flawless. I use a big fluffy brush, swipe it in the pan, tap it then apply all over my face. Super easy!
It goes on smooth and does not go cakey at all, woohoo! It sits so well over my BB cream and does not settle in fine lines or around my nose. It is definitely a great, affordable powder which I would happily purchase again.
After using MAC studio fix powder and really liking it, I switched to this to see if it lived up to the hype. I'm my opinion it is a dupe for the similar MAC product and is a quarter the price! Great for setting foundation in place too.
Absolutely love this powder! You will ALWAYS be able to find it in my makeup bag or out on my vanity. It sets my makeup perfectly without making me look caked, covered in powder, it doesn't make my skin appear dry just a nice matte, and since it is transparent it doesn't cause my skin to look overly orange which is great! If you haven't tried this before the next time you see it grab it and give it a shot! I'm sure you won't regret it.
I have been using this product for almost 10 years now. I was first recommended it by a friend. It gives an amazing matte finish to your foundation, stays on all day, is great for oily skin and doesn’t go on too thick. The price is great and does a better job than more expensive brands. It
Tips: Pat it on after liquid foundation has settled.
I bought this powder at a drugstore and it's very affordable. I mostly bought it to eliminate the shine on my skin, since I have oily skin. It did have a nice clean matte finish to it, overall I would repurchase this product again when I run out.
It 100% does what it claims. As soon as you press it on your face any oil is gone. The mattifying is intense but it works. It makes your makeup look flawless
This is a holy grail pressed powder. It's a fantastic dupe for the Chanel Pressed Powder. It makes my foundation last considerably longer without leaving a cakey finish. The only downfall with this product is that the packaging is inexpensive.
Tips: ASOS constantly stock it, it's also on sale.
I recently bought two shades of the Stay Matte pressed powder as they were on sale. I love that they can provide the perfect matte look and not be too thick or cake-like. I prefer pressed powders over loose as I seem to make the biggest mess with loose powder. I love that it creates the matte finish but doesn't dry out your makeup or skin, as a person with dry to combination skin this was a big plus for me! I did find that I wasn't able to get much powder on my brush in one go so did have to build the product up a bit to get a nice even coverage. I would still recommend this to my friends as it is a nice affordable product that lasts all day.
This is such a great product for the price you pay as a little goes a long way. I will be purchasing another very soon. It's great for setting both liquid and mineral foundation to keep the shine away and softens the look. However, if you apply too much, it can become cakey looking. In terms of packaging, the lid cracked and I had to tape it together (not sure if this happens to other people)
Tips: - Start off on your T-zone as thats where you will need it the most and then lightly dust over the rest of the face.
