Being someone who suffers from desert dry skin, I'm always eager to try anything that claims it will help my foundation appear more flawless.
I jumped straight on the beauty blender wagon, but after using it for the first time I was unexpectedly disappointed. It wasn't applying smoothly, I gave it another couple of attempts, to no avail, so in the drawer it sat for many many weeks.
About 2 months ago I finally pulled it out and tried it again, and I haven't looked back! It works so perfectly for me, the patting motion ensures that I don't disturb any dry patches, and it's super easy to use.
Goodbye bristle marks that you get from using a brush! It's also much more hygienic, I wash it every morning before I use it, as opposed to my old foundation brush that I used to watch once every 1 - 2wks. My skin has been so much clearer since, I'm not 100% sure if this has something to do with it, but I suspect it does.
Lastly, I've used, and washed, the same one daily for the last couple of months and it's still in pristine condition! So yes, it might seem a bit on the pricey side, but if taken care of properly, you'll def get your monies worth! :)
Yes like many others I herd all the hype of these beauty blenders and curiosity got the best of me and I'm so so glad it did. I took the plunge and purchased the double pack from Sephora and used NZ post to deliver to me in NZ. I purchased the double for $40 USD with intentions to sell the extra to my mum but I couldn't part with the spare! There's no way I am giving up my spare because if anything was to happen to my beauty blender I would be absolutely lost . I love it so much , l use it every day and it makes my foundation look flawless . Since I have had my beauty blender I have not once used my MAC or sigma brushes.
Tips: The sponge works better when moist . Wet the sponge in water before use . Squeeze out the excess water and then put the sponge to your foundation and apply in a stippling motion.
