Tips: definitely use damp. with a fresh rinse each time. and wash regularly with the cleaner that can be purchased together.
How can a sponge be luxe? By being the Beauty Blender. There is nothing like this, it is such a fine, soft texture and the alleged dupes out there are not worth your time or money.
This is designed to be used wet so that it doesn't suck up your foundation. I find it does still use more foundation than other application methods would (fingers, brushes), so I don't use this with my really expensive foundation. It's okay though because the finish it gives is so good that it makes cheaper foundations look good!
Tips: 'Bounce' it across the skin for a smooth finish.
I just recently bought myself one of these beauty blender's as I had aquired some foundations that I was finding weren't going on so well with my brushes. The Beauty blender is absolutely amazing as it completely blends in your make up and doesn't leave streaking, like brushes do.
Like most sponges it does soak up a bit of the product, but not so much that you end up with no makeup on your face.
The nicely pointed end and curved edges make it really easy to apply makeup all over you face, even in those annoying creases around noses and eyes.
I used it to blend in mouse foundations and my concealer and it worked brilliantly. It is also really reasonably priced but if you are looking for something a bit more economical you can always shop for the imitations, which soak up a bit more product but still work.
I would definitely recommend this to all of you who want streak free and well blended makeup.
Tips: Make sure you was you blenders after every use otherwise it will get ruined as well as being unhygienic.
This features frequently in my makeup routine, it's such a handy multi-tasking tool. Looking forward to buying another as mine reaches the end of its life.
Tips: Keep it nice and clean.
This is my favourite tool to apply foundation. I have normal skin but my nose gets really dry and porous which makes it really hard to apply foundation without it looking patchy and gross. The beauty blender makes my foundation look absolutely flawless every time i use it. I like to use the tapered end to help blend out concealer under my eyes too. I am so glad I bought one of these after humming and harring about it for a long time. I wish I had bought one sooner.
This was one of those pricey things I was reluctant to buy for so long. I had tried 2 dupes by other, cheap brands, but then bought this on a whim. I am SO glad I did - it absorbs so much less product than the other ones, and it "bounces" more, like I think it is supposed to. The fact that it's more springy and bouncy does make it a lot easier to blend - and I find you need less product too. I also love the amount of control it gives over the coverage level - lighter, faster bounces give a lighter finish and vice versa.
Tips: Definitely use it damp! I was hesitant, it seems counter-intuitive to use water anywhere near foundation while applying. But you won't regret it! Makes the Blender so much softer, and makes it grow in size giving better coverage.
This is the best for applying my Naked Skin foundation. It give a really smooth 'Naked" skin like texture. It is also great if you turn it around to the pointy side and apply concealer to the under eye area.
Ever since I got my beauty blender I have stopped using my foundation brushes completely, it does a far better job than any of them. Because it is used damp it really spreads the foundation well on my face and the finish is so even and well blended. The coverage is not very thick, which I prefer, so if you like a thicker coverage it might not be for you. Another possible negative is that it absorbs some of the product so you will likely use a little more than with a brush, but I think it's worth it. After almost a year my first one has just started to deteriorate, even with regular washing, and I will definitely be purchasing another.
This product is a little expensive but it is incredible. It creates a natural looking texture on skin and is amazing for blending. I use it most for blending, contouring and under my eyes.
Tips: Wet it a tiny bit before use as it soaks up a bit of make up :)
This is the most I will ever spend on a sponge, but wow was it worth it. It is less efficient with your product than using a brush or your fingers, as it seems to soak up foundation super fast, but it gives such a flawless finish! No more brush strokes!
