A product of many uses!
This Tea Tree oil can be used in so many beneficial ways: - Can be applied to acne/blemishes when mixed with carrier oils or moisturizer. (Calms inflammation, redness, swelling) - Helps treat minor scrapes and cuts as its a antiseptic and antibacterial. - Can be used to help treat and prevent head lice. - Can help treat things like nail fungus & athletes foot.
A great option if you want to try something natural first. Does have a very strong scent though!
Tips: Tea tree oil can create sensitivity on the skin if applied directly such as redness, dry skin and flakiness. You can mix it with carrier oils/moisturizers to dilute the formula such as olive, coconut or almond oil to avoid this.
Points for affordability and multi purpose use. This can be used to treat acne and I have been using it to treat an itchy rash which could be fungal along with lavender oil too. You can try treat and prevent ring worm, athletes foot and the scent is also good as an insect repellent too which is why this oil is a good one to have. I buy this in the lavender and peppermint oil aswell it does not irritate my skin although it is still ideal to use a carrier with it or put into a lotion. You can even put some into a conditioner or hair spray to prevent nits I hear it can be used to treat them too but I haven't tried it for that. It's a herbal scent not yuck but may not appeal to everyone but Its more for a medical or therapeutic use product. My only gripe is I prefer a bigger bottle than 10ml my cousin got me into this brand it's been around for decades and makes face washes and other products I keep repurchasing as it's quite trusted brand for me and readily available. I used to think it was Thursday plankton as a kid.
I love the smell though you can accidentally use too much and it becomes overpowering. I use it for acne and bites. Definitely something to keep in the cupboards when you run out of creams.
I will always keep this in my bathroom. Initially it was for skin blemishes to stop infection and to treat mozzie bites, but now I am using it on my feet around my toenails
Tips: I use an eye dropper and put a drop around each tail nail after a shower. It feels good as some of them are horrible and thickened, possibly a fungal thing, maybe old age! On reading my review I see a typo....no! not a tail nail!!! I hope you all guessed toe nail
I like this Tea Tree Oil. It's gentle & soothing. Smells great (I love the smell, I realise not everyone does) although my Hubby thought it was too strong.
Tips: Apply with a cotton tip to the skin around your toe nails after showering. It helps clear dead skin!
I love this stuff. I used it by putting a few drops onto a swisspers cotton pad and wiping it on. works really well on clearing up redness on my pimples, a grazed knee from a sports game and I even used it on a nasty ingrown hair (sorry that's gross but a good-to-know). Saw great improvement overnight and after 2-3 more days most has completely cleared up.
Tips: Use after a hot shower before bed. You only need a couple of drops (if even that), one drop for one pimple or small breakout area.
I've used tea tree oil and this particular brand, on several occasions. It has never let me down. Case in point, I have recently come down with a cold and adding a few drops of this product to my bath water cleared up my symptoms within a matter of a few days. As someone who suffers from a bit of eczema when under stress, and having started a new job recently (a major stressor, as we all know), I dabbed a cotton wool swab with the tea tree oil and applied it to the affected area. The redness cleared up overnight - which is fairly miraculous as anyone with eczema will tell you. I have never been put off by the strong smell, which reminds me of Eucalyptus. It may be called tea tree oil, but it's not oily at all so don't let that put you off. A little goes a long way and a bottle could easily last you a month if you use it sparingly every day. This truly is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone.
Tips: Pop a few drops in your bath water for a treat
This stuff is pretty amazing. It definitely helped with he redness of my blemishes and I found they did not hang around for as long as usual. I love the smell of tea tree but I know that the same cannot be said for everyone! It is not a miracle worker but definitely helps the raking process!
Tips: Apply to freshly cleansed skin with a cotton tip to avoid bacterial contamination. Also dilute with water and put into a spray bottle for a refreshing toner.
I always have a bottle in my house, it’s very versatile. I use it for acne, bites, infections. I love the smell too!
