Have used this a lot for a lot of different purposes - dry lips, nappy/bum balm, eczema, chaffing etc while it isn't the cure all I was hoping for it certainly saves having to carry around a million different creams and lotions, especially on holiday. And it does a reasonable job on fixing the problem, or at least easing it

Tips: Great to take on holiday when you don't want to be lugging heaps of different lotions and potions around
Trilogy is arguably NZs most successful local brand and Everything Balm is a big part of that. This product is a really good idea, but ultimately, not something I find myself using very much.
The pros? This product is ethically produced and NZ made, with lots of lovely nurturing ingredients. It is a complete multi-tasker that can be used for everything (should that be Everything?) from lip balm to eyebrow gel.
The cons? Honestly, I find it too sticky to use for anything but a lip balm - and it's a really big pot to carry around for lip balm. I have tried using it as hand cream but it's so heavy and sticky that I find I've washed my hands and removed the product before it has actually sunk in. Maybe the fault is partly my own for not being creative enough with my use of Everything Balm, but for me it's more Big Pot of Lip Balm.
Tips: Apparently you can use it on baby bums. For any mums with young ones, it's good to know that if you run out of nappy cream while you're out it's a safe alternative. For everyone else, it's nice to know the product is safe enough for that!
I do like this everything balm but I do find it a bit oily, I love using it on the back of my hands and my elbows and knees as it does give it a good feeling. I haven't attempted to use it on my face yet.
This works adequately as a lip balm and is somewhat useful as a salve on other spots though I don't think it would be my go to for most things. It feels great on the cuticles and the lips (unless you've got serious chapping, in which case I recommend Carmex!). Makes lips look great too, works as a gloss. I'd buy again purely because its quite a good deal for what it is!
Tips: You do not need much of this product, use sparingly!
This is a really lovely alternative to Vaseline or petroleum jelly - its soothing on inflamed skin. Its softening on hard skin and makes a wonderful barrier cream.
However it smells so strong, kind of citronella-y and I just can't deal with that smell! And boy does it linger.
So on that basis I wouldn't buy it again, but if citronella scents don't bother you, this is a great balm!
This is quite a nice balm, I mainly use it as lip balm or on dry patches/elbows. It has a very waxy, dry texture but warms up to a thin oil consistency. I would say that this is nice but not my favourite of all the multi use balms out there. You can kind of taste the rosehip flavour when using on your lips which I'm personally not a fan of, but this is great to use in winter.
Tips: Warm this up with your fingertips really well before applying.
First of all I loved the smell of it, it reminded me of a product my mum use to have which I loved. I used it for my lips which was great as it helped with the dryness and the consistency was good when using it for my lips. It was however not so easy when applying to other parts of my body with not much getting on my fingers. The product however was a bit oily which made me cautious of putting on my face as I have oily skin but it was great on the rest of my body.
We have a pottle of this sitting in our "family maintenance drawer" for easy access when we need it.
My first impressions of this product was that it was quite a hard, waxy consistency so it definitely had to be warmed before I used it. I mainly used it for dry areas like my elbows and areas on the backs of my hands and it did moisturise them.
I did not use it on my face or lips because I didn't find it very hygenic as you have to use your fingers to apply the product and due to the pottle packaging (no pump or small opening to tip the product out) you really had to use your fingers to scoop out the product.
Overall I prefer the Elizabeth Arden 8h cream which is a similar product but easier to apply.
I liked this and the fact that it is a universal product means it's perfect to keep in your bag for whenever and whatever! The packaging is simple and easy, and the texture is what you would expect of a balm. I found it easy to apply, and a little goes a long way. I don't think I agree that it is so suitable for the face or lips, possibly a little too greasy. And although the same scent as other Trilogy products, I found this slightly over-powering headache material if applied too liberally. I found it perfect for feet, knees/elbows, hands and cuticles.
**I think had I have read the reviwes about warming it up before use I may have had better results - perhaps I used too much?!?**
I love the Trilogy range, and have used a number of their products. However, I wasn't as taken with this product. It was very oily, and left my skin very oily afterwards.
Even when using as a handcream, my hands were super oily - I had to wash my hands!
I will say though that it did moisturize my skin very well, much better than other products I have used.
Tips: If you are using, have a shower afterwards to get rid of excess oil. Or take the tips below and heat slightly before using.
Use sparingly :)
