After a long day at work or school it is always amazing to come home and put a relaxing eye mask on, this is what I did and the cooling of this eye mask made me want to fall asleep! It felt very calming and refreshing on my eyes and it only took 15 minutes to absorb after I took it off and rubbed in the extra amount it left the area around my eye feeling very moisturized and soft which is what it said it would do. I would buy this product again :)

Tips: cleanse and tone your face before using.
I have some pretty amazing friends. Trudi, the wonderful human she is, sent me a care package and this was inside along with a few other Sephora branded things and some Benefit minis.
I was surprised by the size of this packaging, it looked almost too big to be for under eye sheet masks, but too small to be an entire face mask. Never the less, I got stuck in. The sheets were stuck to a protective layer which I peeled off with great difficulty (not because it’s hard to do, but because I try not to get any of the goo on my hands, it’s the same with sheet masks, I’m just weird okay!). I had just finished doing AHA’s and BHA’s so I decided with a super clean face that these would go on while I had a clay beard.
The smell was quite pleasant, it was subtle and like a clean flower, not a floral flower. I put the mask on and it covered my under eye area awesomely, as well as the fact it curves back around and goes slightly above the eye so you can get your eye laughter “wrinkles” too. I left mine on for a good 20 minutes, perhaps longer. They weren’t overly moist with product to begin with but when I went to remove them they were still damp with product, so that’s cool, I could’ve left them for longer.
I didn’t really notice them do anything spectacular, but I guess my under eye felt a little bit more hydrated than it did before. I would repurchase myself, but I don’t live near a Sephora, nor do I want to buy from their website again. But these were great for a treatment seeing I couldn’t do a sheet mask, and if I had more I'd use them or a different brand again for sure.
I'll start with a disclaimer. I hate, and i mean HATE sheet masks. I can't cope with the claustrophobic clamminess.
BUT these eye versions are a good compromise! I get good effects from them without the horrid feelings i get with the full face ones. Plus, because you can pick these up individually from Sephora, they're really quite cheap.
These come packaged up in pairs, designed to be used at the same time, with one on each eye, and each pair is sealed and hygienic. When you open the package there are outer layers, and the mask, which is liberally coated with a slightly gooey product. You place each mask under your eyes, and around the outer edge, and leave them on there. The sensation is not unlike having cucumber slices on your eyes, but a bit squishier and colder.
The Lotus eye mask in particular (there are a few varieties) is meant to moisturize and soothe - and it definitely does both. During use, tired eyes start to feel relaxed and pampered, and definitely soothed. Post use, there is a definite plumply hydrated look to my eyes.
Once you're done, you remove the masks and bin them. You don't need to wash your face (and in fact I often swipe the mask over my face and neck before i throw it away). There's a subtle scent, more of a refreshing vague scent than anything to flowery.
I love these, and regret not stocking up while i was in Australia recently ( i stupidly thought i had more in stock than i do!) so the next time Sephora have free shipping i'm ordering a bunch of them.
Tips: try them! they're so cheap and you can't go wrong
