Beautifully scented

With a birthday voucher in hand I thought it'd only be right to use it on a product I hadn't used before.

I've ever tried the sephora brand before so was pretty intrigued. Blueberry moisturising body lotion nabbed my attention! I love moisturisers so was excited to give this a go.

The bottle pretty sturdy and comes in a 200ml pump bottle. Easy to get the product out. Enough comes out to rub into one leg so I find I'm using a bit to cover the whole body.

It smells incredible! And the scent lingers for roughly 20ish minutes once the cream has completely absorbed into the skin. It does take awhile for my skin to absorb it and it doesn't keep my skin hydrated through out the day.

It's a nice lotion to put on after the shower but not one I'd rely on to keep my skin hydrated and soft.

Lovely for the price but a let down on a whole.

Ooh thanks for the warning! What's the point of a lotion that doesn't keep your skin hydrated? :(

Sephora Light Body Lotion Not Ideal for Dry Skin

I grabbed the vanilla scented one when there was a 30% off sale. This lotion is light, fast absorbing and the scent wasn't strong or sweet and definitely didn't last. I personally would've liked it if the scent was stronger as I love vanilla scents. The pump worked well till the bottle was almost empty. I have fairly dry and sensitive skin and using this everyday my skin didn't get irritated but it was more prone to getting itchy than when I was using a more natural based body lotion. So I won't be repurchasing. I think this is okay as a body moisturizer but I don't recommend having it as your only body moisturizer especially if you have really dry skin.

Tips: Use this in the morning after showers when you're in a rush to get dressed and then something thicker and more nourishing in the evening.

Sephora Collection Moisturising Body Lotion

I grabbed this lotion with the matching body wash when I was at Sephora last year.

I really like the shape of the bottle, its round and is shaped in the middle, a bit like a waist. It has a good pump which dispenses enough for an arm but not quite enough for a leg, not a problem though.

I git this in the scent of Cotton Flower which is a wee bit sweet and pretty however it will only last for a short while, dissapointing.

The lotion is light and absorbs well but the results are not amazing. I found this did not moisturise as well as others I have used so I was not happy with the result. I now only use this lotion on weekends when I am at home and can reapply throughout the day. I will not repurchase this again.

Tips: Maybe try this if your skin is not very dry.

Not Very Moisturising

I have the cherry blossom scented lotion from the Sephora Collection, which now comes in a squeeze tube.

I’ll be honest, I purchased it because I liked the fragrance. I figured most lotions are decently moisturising so what could go wrong?

The smell is definitely lovely and lasts about 1 hour. It also absorbs very quickly and isn’t sticky or greasy. But it really provides no nourishment to my skin. I might as well not be wearing any lotion at all, it’s that useless.

I’ll use the remainder of the product but certainly won’t be repurchasing.

Delicious scent, lighter lotion

This definitely (as Amy said) isn't the most hydrating lotion ever created, but I quite like that sometimes. I don't always need the most full on moisture punch, and sometimes it's about scent and light hydration, which this delivers in spades.

I've had a few scents to try now, and my fave has been discontinued (RIP chocolate :( )

These lotions come in sleek curved tube shaped bottles with a pump. I find it easy enough to use this right down to the last drop.

The lotions are light and absorb really quickly - perfect for freezing winter mornings when I prefer that as an option and leave the more full on moisturising until after the heater has done it's thing!

The scent lingers on skin without being overpowering - really lovely. They come in a range of scents so even though I'm now without my fave there are plenty of other lovely things - cherry blossom, and mango are faves.

Tips: Also come with matching hand creams, shower gels and bath fizzers!
