Removes Most Types of Lipstick but Not Lip Stains

I bought this because I'm really inexperienced when it comes to applying liquid lipstick and so thought this would help to correct the mistakes. This comes in a clear tube with a black screw on top and green writing. The tip is really fine so you can just put a tiny bit on a cotton bud and correct any mistakes. I can't detect a scent from the gel and there is no added fragrance. Ingredients wise this is a basic cosmetic gel with safflower oil and aloe vera added. I find this gel removes lip gloss and regular bullet lipstick easily. Liquid lipsticks it takes repeated applications and more cotton pads and you have to rub a tad more to try and dissolve the colour and then you will still have a faint stain but it's light enough that I can sleep with it on or apply light colour over it. Maybe it doesn't have that problem with lighter coloured liquid lipsticks as I only have bright and dark liquid lipsticks. If I just applied the liquid lippy and am correcting the line because I overdrew my lips the lipstick comes off easily. That being said it gets the job done and removes almost all the colour left by the liquid lipstick. My lips are slightly red but mainly from rubbing and because the liquid lipstick was a bit drying prior to removing it and the gel isn't really moisturizing but my lips aren't irritated or bone dry. When it comes to lip stains I find it helps to get off the colour but I still have a good amount of colour and pigment clinging to dry spots. But this does help get off most of the colour. That being said even using a lip scrub doesn't help me remove all the colour leftover, so I just don't wear a lip stain every day. I don't know if it works the same on all lip stain colours as I only have a dark, berry red one. I do think this is pretty handy as it is great for if you want to change your lipstick while you're out but don't want to mess up your foundation and other makeup on your face. The gel doesn't spread or melt your lipstick so it bleeds into your foundation. I would recommend this for those who aren't the best at applying liquid lipsticks like myself or are learning to overdraw their lips. I think I would repurchase this when I run out because it's handy.

Tips: The instructions on the box say to apply evenly to the lips and wait 30 seconds and then remove with a cotton pad. I found I don't need to wait with regular lipsticks as I can pretty much wipe it straight off especially the lighter shades but I get better results if I wait for 30 seconds with the longer lasting and liquid lipsticks and especially lip stains. I don't wait 30 seconds when I am correcting my lipstick lines and fixing mistakes and I don't have a problem, I just use an extra Q-tip. I like to apply the gel to my finger and then rub it on my lips when I am removing my lipstick and then follow up with a cotton pad. When I am correcting mistakes I just use a bit on a Q-tip to spot I want to fix. This is really handy if you are changing your lip colour while you are out and don't want to use an oil to dissolve your lipstick and have a clown mouth.
