This is by a long shot the best purple shampoo I've used to date for getting those pesky yellow hues out. I generally it in for at least 5 minutes before rinsing and this is more than enough time for toning. It does tend to leave my hair feeling a bit dry though so I use a good conditioning treatment after each use. Have yet to try the fudge clean blonde conditioner but interested to give it a go alongside the shampoo.

Tips: Make sure to rinse thoroughly to avoid staining the skin.
When I was blonde this was hands down the BEST product. I actually used a toning mask that needed to be left in for 20mins at one point and Fudge Clean Blonde shampoo blew that messy, silly toning mask out of the water. I've also used L'Oreal Professional purple shampoo and fudge Clean Blonde is far superior. The results are stunning and you can leave it in for longer depending on how deep/ cool you want the color to go. I brought this for under $20 and it lasts such a long time as you only need to use it once a week max. Fantastic. Will definitely use again when I eventually go back to blonde.
As someone with silver blonde hair, I'm always trying new toning products. However nothing compares to Fudge!
It's so potent - I only need to leave it in my hair for a few minutes and my colour is refreshed. Sometimes I will also leave it in for longer (10-20 minutes) if I need more intense toning.
The only problem with this is that it can be quite drying. Although, if you condition after use, you shouldn't have a problem. Personally I don't mind about the dryness because I always use conditioner after shampoo, and I use treatments at least once a week so it doesn't bother me.
If you haven't tried this and you have light blonde hair, I definitely recommend it. If you use it 2-3 times a week and leave it in for a few minutes, it should work great for you. Be careful how long you leave it in for if you don't want a violet tint - sometimes if I leave it in for too long it can leave a few violet streaks but I personally like that.
Tips: Use 2-3 times a week, and condition after use
I have home dyed my hair blonde a couple of times now and it's always a struggle to avoid going yellow without having to spend big bucks on toners. Luckily I was introduced to Fudge Clean Blonde purple shampoo. The formula of the shampoo is quite liquidy and is a very deep purple. In terms of lather and the cleaning of your hair goes, I find it doesn't do a great job, but the colour results are great. After about 4 washes I started noticing my platinum blonde streaks coming through and my golden blonde areas becoming less brassy. The shampoo is very purple and I found that if I use it too often my scalp gets stained, so I only use it once a week.
Tips: Wash your hair with your normal shampoo first, because Fudge doesn't clean hair very well.
I've been using this product for years. First: when I had platinum blonde hair - it keep it a pure white colour which I loved without having to do use more intense toning. Now: My hair is an ash grey achieved with foils, I love having grey hair in winter and this keeps it nice and silver/grey without having to use anything else and if I leave it in really long I can get a very subtle purple so it's a very multi functional product.
Tips: Leave it in for 30 mins for a soft purple colour
As a blonde my ambition is to stay blonde. Not yellow, not gold.. blonde. I absolutely loved how thw fudge clean blonde toning shampoo have me some whites in my hair.
I leave it in for quite sometime then wash out thoroughly. Using in conjunction with the fudge conditioner your hair stays soft and scalp hydrated.
I defintely recommend this to all the blonde babes (guys and gals) This may be your holy grail so get in on it right away and stay the blonde you were born to be!
Tips: Use in conjunction the fudge violet conditioner to keep your hair soft and scalp hydrated.
Blondes do NOT have more fun! Whoever said that clearly wasn’t blonde! The maintenance is time consuming to say the least. Purple shampoos were ok, toners are overall pretty good but nothing would beat the toner at the salon. Then one day I switched hairdressers and she highly recommended this shampoo and thought it would keep my ashy blonde hair looking pretty tip top.
It comes in a 300ml squeeze tube which sits on its lid. That alone makes me love it, no product wastage! The tube is black and silver with a bright purple lid, it looks stylish and stands out.
The shampoo is a very dark vibrant purple I was almost scared to put it in my hair the first time I used it. It has a very mild scent, it almost smells kind of powdery floral. I wet my hair, wring out as much of the water as I can then apply about a tablespoon of the thick shampoo to my long hair. I let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it out. And wow the foam this shampoo produces is quite insane It feels like it takes forever (thinking the shower is going to run out of hot water ages) afterwards my hair already feels slightly conditioned from the shampoo and doesn’t leave it feeling stripped like some blonde shampoos/toners can do.
After I condition with the matching conditioner I lightly towel dry my hair then take a sneak peak at it and my hair looks a perfect blonde and definitely over time my hair seems to look brighter and more ashy certainly no more unwanted brassy tones. It almost leaves it kind of purple which I do love BUT if you had more of a golden blonde and didn’t want the slight purple colour be very careful.
I first used this several times a week but now it’s only a once a week thing and it keeps my hair well maintained. (I don’t want it too purple) It is quite well priced too, a 300ml bottle costs about $19. I love this shampoo as it does leave your hair looking salon fresh all the time and it also leaves my hair feeling so soft and nourished at the same time so you can’t really lose. I will be repurchasing this for sure.
This is my absolute favourite shampoo, my hair bottle blonde. I have been using this for over a year along with a violet conditioner and I can say my hair is a far better colour because of it! So much so that I get comments on how nice the colour is looking. And even my hairdresser complemented on how nice the colour is looking and she knows I do it myself. Definitely has taken the brassy look out of my hair. Fudge has the right mix for my hair. Won't be swapping from this shampoo for a while.
Tips: Leave it in for a little longer if hair is looking too brassy
The fudge clean blonde violet toning shampoo is by far the best purple shampoo I have ever used. Many other purple shampoos I have used have not removed the brassiness in my hair however the fudge purple shampoo removed all of the brassiness in my hair and lightened it to my desired color. I have spend hundreds of dollars on finding a good purple shampoo, and I can confidentally say that the fudge purple shampoo is definitely my favorite by far.
Tips: Try not to leave the shampoo in for too long as it may stain your scalp purple, and try to wash it out properly. But aside from that this shampoo is definetly the most effective one I have ever used!
This has to be the life saver shampoo for those who color using blonde. It truly takes out all the yellow/brassy tones. Definitely leave in for a couple of minutes. Ensure your hair is really wet to ensure you get a good lather going. It can leave your hair feeling quite dry afterwards so I always pair it up with the Fudge Clean Blonde Conditioner. I only use it twice a week and it lasts forever.
Tips: Ensure you clean any splatters off surfaces immediately or you will get purple stains.
