Loved this conditioner, it's really fantastic. Made with mostly natural ingredients and no nasties, why wouldn't you not love it. Only needed to use a small amount and I have alot of hair. Pleasant fragrance and not over the top.

I didnt rate this at first, after using it the once my hair didnt feel so great but once it had dried it felt amazing! The bottles are a perfect size, and it smells amazing. It is thick in consistency and easy to apply. Will buy this again
Tips: As always a little goes a long way
Consistency is thick and creamy like most conditioners. Application it is easy to apply runs through the hair without issue or without needing more product. Fragrance isn't overpowering compared to the shampoo smells nutty or like coconut. Coverage I didn't need a lot of product to cover my ends probably about half a tablespoon for below shoulder length of hair. Longevity of scent and quick application and easy to wash out product. Usage is easy to use no stress with having to leave the product in for a long time while showering without wasting so much water. Price point is roughly about 9 to 12 dollars which isn't bad for what the product offers without nasty chemicals added in. Packaging is basic says its recyclable not too sure if the plastic is soft enough to be recycled within New Zealand itself. Results I'm happy with results my hair is still a little frizzy but I can live with it less knots which is a bonus it does seem to rectangle and not weigh down my hair. My ends feel soft to the touch so I do feel like my hair has benefited from this product within a soft period of time. I would recommend trying out this product for yourself I don't have anything to really fault the product on. Love how its vegan and paraben free.
First off, I really like this packaging. It's a slimmer, smaller bottle than most, so it's less awkward to manage when wet, and it fits more easily into the shower shelves too. I do quite like the pump top option generally, but this flip-top lid clicks solidly shut and seals well, which is great for travelling, and it's easy to dispense exactly how much product you want. Plus it's all recyclable, which is a huge plus in my book.
The conditioner itself is quite a thick, white cream, and has a mild, very pleasant, sweet vanilla-y, lightly coconut-y sort of fragrance. Not overpowering at all. Just really nice.
And I love the formula! It's great for my dry, thick, very curly hair. It feels creamy, gentle and moisturising, creating a good slip in the hair once it's worked through a bit. And – big and – it doesn't weigh down my hair at all. I mean, NOT AT ALL. That's amazing, in my experience, as so many 'intensely nourishing' or 'smoothing' or even just 'hydrating' conditioners seem to create a coating on the hair. You get the smoothness but it comes with a flattened head of limp curls. So I'm a big fan of this one.
I found I didn't need to use much product at all for it to do its job, so, yes, it's a smaller bottle than some, but it'll last well.
I would recommend this to anyone with dry or curly hair. It made my hair feel hydrated and nourished but also clean and light, making my curls really bouncy and shiny. I'm not sure I'd say they were smoother... To achieve really glossy, smoothed, highly defined curls, I need to add a leave-in cream or mousse, usually formulated with silicone, sadly. But I generally do that just when I want my hair to look extra special, so for my daily care, I'll be really happy to avoid the nasties and silicones, and keep things as natural as possible with this lovely Macadamia Hair Food. I like it so much, I'm planning to try out the leave-in conditioner in the same range.
Tips: Use less than you think you need, and give yourself a moment to work it properly through your hair.
Love that these bottles are made from recycled materials!
The shape is cool but a little bit hard to grip when squeezing product out. The consistency is thick and smells absolutely wonderful!!!
The conditioner does on well and worked as a leave in too! I have really thick hair and it was easy to use and feels nice when using.
product does what it says, works well and is easy to use. Doesn’t strip the hair either which is a bonus for me as I have thick frizzy hair!
I really liked the look and the design of this bottle nd the smell was an added bonus
Tips: Shake your bottle upside down so you don’t have to squeeze too much as the shape makes this awkward
My first impression of the conditioner was wow this smells good enough to eat. It smells lovely and natural but deliciously chocolately smelling. I loved how thick and creamy it was. It was nearly buttery which I just love. When squeezing it out it forms a think creamy blob that holds its shape so I'm sure it doesn't have a lot of water filling in it. It feels creamy and smooth when rubbing through the hair. It really has the feel of a more expensive high end product. I think because it's so thick and nourishing I used a little more than I possibly needed to but it really felt lovely, creamy and soft. I possibly could get away with using a little less and I wouldn't need to use much at all at more roots. The price is amazing and I would absolutely choose this over similarly priced conditioners. When I first saw the bottles it reminded my of chocolate milk drinks and I thought it was a really nice touch. I also love that the conditioner is a different coloured bottle from the shampoo. It makes life a lot easier when you're scrambling around in the shower! The bottles are a nice nearly squarish design which I am loving. I love the way it fits so neatly in the shelves. After the first initial use I think I probably used a little too much conditioner and found my roots to be a little heavy. However on the next time I just rubbed it through the lower half of my hair and used a tiny bit on the tops. I love how my hair feels afterwards and I also love that I don't have masses of flyaway hair, which I really struggle with and even other more expensive products which claim to tame these often don't work. I love how my hair smells, feels and looks after this conditioner. I was very pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend and I was so pleased to read that it doesn't contain silicons so that it just appears smoother.
I must admit I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised as my hair felt quite soft after. I only did use it once during my trial period as I don't need to wash my hair often, my hair is coarse and dry in the end due to bleach. I usually use salon conditioners so I am quite happy with how this was on par with the salon products I use. The only funny thing is the bottles make them look like milkshakes!
The conditioner's fragrance is pleasant and light, and it is a smooth, thick consistency. It can be challenging to get some out, so you need to store it upside down, but the wide, flat lid allows for that. It‘s opaque and has a tan/nutty colour.
The conditioner spreads very easily - I only apply it to the ends of my hair. It definitely makes my hair smoother and look more healthy, as advertised.
I will use this product again.
I’ve tried many conditioners in the past . None of them have really stood out to me . I was excited by this trial because Garnier gets innovative with their products as the years progress .
Packaging unique bottle . Haven’t seen any other bottles like this before. Labelling is easy to read and standout amongst my other products. Consistency smooth creamy quite thick . Scent is sweet vanilla nutty combo . I rinse my hair prior to applying this through my hair . I use about three pumps worth of product which is quite a bit . My hair goes from coarse to smooth soft hair . My scalp and hair felt smooth and cleansed . My hair became knotty after drying it .
After trying this out . I enjoyed this one over the shampoo. This one lathered correctly and genuinely felt like it had made a difference. I did notice shine . I’m happy with how this worked.
Firstly I really like the lid and shape of this bottle as it makes it so much easier to hold and open while in the shower. It spreads well and feels great in my hair like it is really conditioning it I leave it in while washing the rest of me so it can really work on my hair and washing out easily without leaving a slick feel to my skin like some others do. My hair is really dry due to it being dyed blond (to help hide the greys!) and usually goes quite frizzy when I let it air dry, however found not only does my hair feel healthier after using it but my curls are far less all over the show and once I had used it a few times the difference was very noticeable my hair felt a lot softer and healthier. This is definitely a conditioner I would keep using due to how good my hair now feels.
Tips: Make sure your hair is still decently wet but not soaked as this helps with coverage and leave it on for a few minutes, I kept mine on for about 4-5 mins and felt I got great results from that.
