My nana gave this to me as it was a gift with purchase. The first thing that drew me to it was it's attractive design and gun metal grey finish, it doesn't look like a standard eyelash curler its a bit better looking. The design also allows you to put your fingers into the little loops instead of holding the clamp like other curlers I've tried.
It does the job you'd expect and with minimal pinching to the eyelid. it curls my lashes nicely and all of them, and the curl has a nice hold to it which I never usually get. The pads are also easy to replace and allow for it to keep on going, I've had mine for around 3+ years and there is no sign of it breaking or anything! I would replace it with another shiseido eye lash curler was something to happen to this one. I really think it is worth the investment.
After using the Shu Uemura eyelash curler for a while and not being 100% satisfied with its results I went on the hunt for something new. I had a look around online to see what other people really liked using and this curler popped up numerous times with good reviews. I ended up purchasing mine from eBay for about $15 NZD (including 1 refill pad). It’s honestly the best eyelash curler I’ve tried and I don’t see any reason why I’d be switching to another one any time soon. The shape allows me to easily capture all my lashes, gently curling them from the inner corner right out to the end. And unlike other curler’s I’ve tried this one doesn’t pinch. I definitely recommend spending a few extra bucks for this curler that’s comfortable and easy to use. I’ve also had it for a couple of years now so it’s not just going to break on you.
Tips: Replacement pads are available for a few bucks online too.
