This is my favourite setting powder. I received this as a gift and just can't get enough of it...However I'm almost out and am not to sure I can afford the price tag no matter how good it is.
It comes in a nice little stained plastic container with a puff (That I don't use) and a sifter grate. Product comes out with ease and there is never excess through the grate.
I use this product on my T zone and it gives a nice satin finish. It also doesn't cake my face and leaves my face oil free for quite some time.
Will repurchase at some point just not right now.
I got a mini pot of this along with a bunch of other travel sized shiseido products. This came with a cute little puff and a very sturdy screw on lid.
I usually stray away from loose powders because it's just such an effort to use and I find them quite wasteful. Also it's hard to control the exact amount of powder on the brush. In order to not look cakey, I use the puff to pick up some powder then use a brush to pick of the product off that puff. It's a little more trouble but it means I don't have to waste it by tapping half of it away.
When I wear this it feels light and unnoticeable. It doesn't settle into my fine lines after a while and it doesn't accentuate any unevenness or bumps on my skin. After a few hours, my skin still looks semi matte and 'fresh' as if I had just done my makeup. Even when I tried a full coverage look it still didn't look that cakey.
This doesn't have much of a smell and although fine, it's not one of those powders that fly everywhere when you open the lid. The colour is transluscent but I think it'll best suit light to medium skin tones.
Although this was a good setting powder with definite results, I still prefer the convenience of a pressed powder. It's just so much faster and easier to use. Also the price of this i just a tad high for a loose powder.
