I love this brush with every being in my body, it is what revolutionised my foundation application and is why I have 2 backups that are in constant rotation.
How can a brush change your life! well easy, when you find that one brush that makes the very art of applying makeup fun, easy and gets the flawless effect every single time, then that is a brush that changes your life. This is what Sigma have done to me with their F80 flat kabuki brush.
Having 2 brushes in their normal silver barrel, and 1 in their copper barrel, all 3 of them have the same easy grip handle in a shiny black coat that is just the right length and girth to be comfortable to handle as you spot, swirl and blend liquid foundations into place on your skin. The bristles are tightly bounded to make a dense flat top that allows only the minimal amount of makeup to be sucked up into the brush so you don't waste any makeup, but yet keeps a softness that feels like velvet upon your face. After multiple washes (all 3 get at least 1 wash every week) these brushes show their quality with no loss of bristles, no loosen of compaction and when washed properly where you prevent water from entering the barrel, no movement of the bristles, retaining the shape of the brush head.
My F80 is a brush I rely on daily, to make my skin look like it does. Before I was using either my fingers or a sponge as the flat foundation brushes were forever leaving streaks, but my F80 never does.
This is my everyday foundation brush. I purchased it after reading many great reviews and it has not disappointed.
I use this brush to buff in any liquid foundation or BB cream. It is just the right size to be used on large flat areas as well as in little creases. The end result of 'buffing' in foundation with this brush looks truly airbrushed. The density of the bristles means makeup build up in the brush is minimal and you can get away with only washing once every 5 days or so (I used to wash my flat foundation brush daily). I have been using this brush for several months now and it hasn't shed yet which is always a sign of a good quality brush!
