This is my first ever toner. I have never really seen the point until I decided to try it and see if it made a difference, I wish I had discovered toners sooner! I loved this brand of toner, It has left a fantastic first impression (especially being cheap as I'm a student!). My skin feels amazing and has helped prevent my skin to break out as much.

Tips: I found using a cotton pad nice for applying onto your face.
If you are looking for an inexpensive toner that does the job - this is it. Widely available in Supermarkets, and you can normally pick it up sub $10 in the Countdown beauty sales.
For me, I find it a great balance between not irritating sensitive skin or skin out and budget. It is really easy to use - and the bottle has a great opening meaning no wasted toner on the bench or too much on your cotton pad.
The Simple toner is 100% alcohol free - hence the non drying effect on skin. I use this toner regularly - no complaints here, just a happy sensitive skin face :)
Tips: Make sure you have all your eye make up off - if you are used to toners that will catch the "dregs" of your waterproof mascara, this is not one to do the trick.
My older sister used to swear by the 'SIMPLE ' skin care range, they did everything from face wipes to these like strips youd put on your nose...then youd peel them off and it'd pull out all the juicy bits in your black heads!Yummy right?
I used this when I hit teenage years which meant slightly more blackheads...this is a really refreshing toner. And the best thing about it is...it's completely alcohol free! Which means no nasty dryness for your skin...and none of that stinging which can be present on open pores or pimples.
It's a completely reasonable price and is better than most supermarket brands and is awesome if you are on a budget.
Tips: Try using a 'rolling' motion with your hands apllying your toner to your skin rather than cotton pads. This allows for greater absorption into the skin... ;)
Used this as a student while I was on a budget, because toning is so important, but I couldn't afford the cosmeceutical brands. This one, for a supermarket product, is good. It's alcohol free, so doesn't dehydrate, and it is nice and gentle. While cosmeceutical products are definitely better, I often recommend this one to my clients who can't afford to buy something professional.
Tips: Always, regardless of skin type/problems, use an alcohol free toner after cleansing. It restores your skin's pH which protects it from micro organisms, rehydrates and helps with absorption of moisturiser. If you have acne, alcohol free toner will bring up the water levels, which balances the oil flow.
This toner worked really well for my skin. It helped prevent breakouts (I have pimple prone skin), and felt really refreshing.
Tips: Pour onto a cotton ball/pad and wipe all over your skin.
I used to use this all the time but have stopped using toner lately as I find my skin is happier without one but if I was going to use one this would be it - cleanses any excess makeup/cleanser residue away (especially if you use the simple cream cleanser) without stripping your skins natural oils away. Highly recommend for dry and sensitive skin types.
Tips: If you have extremely sensitive skin always avoid alcohol based toners - another cheap option is to try using rosewater instead of a toner - cheap and available from ethnic food stores and it smells amazing.
It removes makeup well and it has never irritated my skin.I feel that it leaves my face, fresh and clean.I also found just a drop does a lot so it lasts a long time. The price is very reasonable, also. If you check the ingredients, most of them are natural and good for the skin with none of the nasty chemicals. So it's like a homemade toner without the trouble of making one. So, give it a try!
Tips: Use this in conjuction with Simple kind to eyes eye makeup remover for better results.
This toner is great for everyday use, its non abrasive, nor does it irritate my skin, the soothing quality is very refreshing especially during the summer months when your skin gets dry and hot from the humid days, it works to brighten and tone the complexion and reduced my pores. However after prolonged use my skin got used to it so I switched around for a while and never went back to it, but if I ever find myself without a toner and had to pop into a local shop this would be the one I grab as I know its got good for my skin and is affordable.
I had this on my list of things to buy for a while and when I saw it on sale at Uncle Bills one day for $6 or so I decided to give it a go.
I started using this when my face was breaking out due to stress etc. Beforehand I had been having no luck clearing up pesky spots but once I aided this too my routine (the only change) my faced cleared up really well.
Definitely worth the $12 and I will be repurchasing.
Tips: I poured some into a little ELF makeup set and spray bottle and spray it on my face before wiping gently with a cotton pad. This way I'm not wasting it by softening the cotton pad and I get the right amount :)
I use it before bed and before I apply my makeup in the morning and it keeps my face looking healthy!
I actually really like this toner! Im not so big on them because they tend to dry my skin out but this one is very gentle on my skin. Leaves my face feeling like it couldn't be cleaner and the next day my face is so soft. And most importantly its a nice price.. I managed to get it on special too!
Tips: Use it after you've washed your face and you'll see all the gunk you've missed! I was so surprised!
