Simple Kind to Skin Soothing Facial Toner

My older sister used to swear by the 'SIMPLE ' skin care range, they did everything from face wipes to these like strips youd put on your nose...then youd peel them off and it'd pull out all the juicy bits in your black heads!Yummy right?

I used this when I hit teenage years which meant slightly more blackheads...this is a really refreshing toner. And the best thing about it is...it's completely alcohol free! Which means no nasty dryness for your skin...and none of that stinging which can be present on open pores or pimples.

It's a completely reasonable price and is better than most supermarket brands and is awesome if you are on a budget.

The packaging of simple is always pleasant on my eyes, its not something I usually go for but the price on this product is great. Easy to use, it leaves my face feeling refreshed and dewy. As my skin is combination it works well with my skin type, I didn't notice any dryness or excessive oiliness.

I have been using this toner for the past month, and have seen no visible difference in my skin. My skin is exactly the same in terms of redness, oil levels, and breakouts as it was a month ago. I saw no results, good or bad, and certainly none of the 'impressive results' advertised on the back of the bottle. It was gentle and good for sensitive skin, but perhaps for me it was too gentle to see any effects. Although I like the fact that this product contains nourishing ingredients like Pro-Vitamin B5, Chamomile and Witch Hazel, the complete lack of improvement in my skin makes this toner an unnecessary part of my morning routine.

i was pretty unimpressed with this toner. there was no standout reason, it simply just failed to impress me.

the smell was mild and unoffensive, which was nice. i usually put my toners in a spray bottle and spritz it on my face (1. i'm lazy and 2. i save cotton pads this way haha!) and i leave it to dry. probably not the most effective way of using toners but i like it.

it felt like i was spraying water on my face. it happily didn't dry me out but it didn't do much else either. other than drying, it just kinda sat there. it didn't dry my skin out though, which is always a bonus.

do i think my skin was soothed? yeah a little. it wasn't any softer or clearer(breakout wise) but the redness had gone down a little, but not by a lot. i wouldn't buy it again.

I brought the whole range of this brand and found that I didnt particularly like any of their products. The toner had a pleasant smell but felt no different than applying water and I noticed no change in my skin at all. I've used other toners and would much prefer to use them over this one.
