Simple Micellar Water Review

This micellar water is pretty simple and basic. I like that it's non-irritating, doesn't stink and not soapy. I've tried a few micellar waters and a couple have been either too soapy or irritating when I use it around my eyes. This price isn't too bad for the size of the bottle. It gets off all my eye makeup with a few wipes of a cotton round, even mascara and waterproof eyeliner. The bottle doesn't leak and the smaller hole in the top makes it easier to control how much you apply onto a cotton pad. It has niacinamide (vitamin B3) and panthenol (vitamin b5) as well as some chamomile flower extract. All over a good buy. Not my preferred brand of micellar water because there is another brand which I think is more economical for the size of the bottle. But this is one I would consider repurchasing.

I was keen to try this, so I got it from a Beauty Review Beauty Vault.

It comes in a clear 200ml bottle with writing in green on it and a green lid. It has instructions on the back about how to use it, and it does not have to be rinsed off after application. The small nozzle on the bottle allows a controlled amount to be applied to a cotton pad for application. It is very easy to use and to apply.

It is a very gentle, very mild formula which I find does not irritate my eyes when I remove eye makeup. I found it removed makeup effectively.

Simple is a brand that I like and always use the simple hydrating light moisturiser so when got given this from a friend and I was happy to try it. It works well to remove makeup although I did struggle a bit on eyeliner and mascara. I think letting it soak on the skin for a few seconds before wiping really helps. Didnt irritate my skin. Overall I would use it again.

I have dry sensitive skin and for a long time struggled to find products that didn't react badly or flare up my face! I was recommended the 'simple' brand and absolutely love it! It includes safe ingredients which doesn't irritate my skin and it has a nice neutral smell. After using this product my skin didn't feel dried out instead it feels soft and smooth. It is also very delicate and gentle around the eye area. Overall, a great product to get rid of makeup or as part of your daily/nightly face cleaning routine.

I really enjoyed this micellar water. It made my face feel really great after using it and it didn't cause any break outs which tends to happen with my skin when I try things fo the first time. For removing make up I found it okay. It did take a bit of rubbing to remove more stubborn products but worked really well with foundation.

This product is super cheap, along with the rest of their range! I have always been dubious about what micellar water actually does...so I grabbed this as it was cheaper than a lot of other waters. The smell is pleasant, does not sting the face and takes extra makeup off. But in this same sense I think it works just the same as makeup remover. After use, my skin felt tacky and a little sticky. I appeared to get no pimples from this product but once it was finished I have no desire to purchase it again. It was good while it lasted but as stated above, what’s the point if you already have vitamin enriched makeup removers.

When removing my makeup, I use micellar water 99% of the time. I liked how affordable this product was and how it made my skin feel. It never made my skin feel dry or sticky after using and felt gentle on my skin. When using this product to remove eye makeup, it didn't irritate my eyes. It has no scent. My only issue with this micellar water is that I had to use a LOT to fully remove my makeup. When I was using this to remove eye makeup I had to scrub quite a bit and usually used a different makeup remover to remove eye makeup.

While I liked this micellar water and used the whole bottle, I haven't repurchased, and probably wouldn't just because I've tried other makeup removers that I find remove my makeup quicker and more effectively.

I liked this product because it didn’t leave any residue on my face. However it took quite a long time to get the makeup off compared to other products that I’ve used. I had to go through about 5 or 6 pads before I got rid of all my makeup

This is the first micellar water I have tried, Ive been using it for the past 2 weeks.

I was a bit sceptical and to be honest it hasnt left much of an impression. I think I need to try another brand to compare. Anyway the package is what it is...simple! There is no smell to it and it is essentially like water. I think that is just what I dislike.

I dont feel comfortable using this before work, the product just doesnt leave my face feeling properly cleaned, I feel like I am wiping the dirt already on the pad over my face. It did wipe off small marks of makeup which was good.

Think I will stick to my typical cleanser sorry!
