Pure Face

I am a big fan of the Simple range as there products always feel so gentle on my sensitive skin. So I purchased the micellar water about a month ago and I honestly will never use another toner or makeup remover. This has replaced both of those for me. It is super affordable and I find that after using it for so long, my skin is much clearer and it takes half the time it usually does removing my makeup at night.

It doesn't have a strong chemical smell and feels super light on my skin. I use it in the morning with cotton pads to give my skin that "extra clean" feeling after I use my cream cleanser and at night with cotton pads to remove my eye makeup. It takes only two pads (one for each eye) to remove heavy eye makeup, rather than my usual four to five. And it never dries out my skin.

I love this product and I recommend it to ANYONE with sensitive skin that is easily irritated. This will definitely have a permanent place in my bathroom cabinet.

Tips: When using as a makeup remover apply a generous amount to one cotton pad and wait for the pad to absorb most of it then hold gently over your eye for 10-15 seconds. Then gently wipe away. This should remove the majority of your eye makeup and then just wipe away the little bit left behind with a clean wash cloth.

Pleasantly surprised

I didn't have high expectations due to my past experience with a product from the same brand so I was pleasantly surprised when it worked a treat on my oily sensitive skin. I only bought this because Garnier Micellar was sold out in my local supermarket and this was the only cleansing water available that I believed wouldn't cause my skin to react.

I've been using it for the past 2 weeks and I've had no signs of a rash, redness or dry skin which are sure signs of reacting to a product for me. It leaves my face feeling clean - I'm not too sure about "hydrated" because proceed with the rest of skincare routine which means more cleansing products. I probably go through 3-4 cotton pads to clean my face which doesn't bother me because like all cleansing water products I don't expect it to completely clean my face. I still go in with my cleanser and exfoliating cleanser afterwards.

I've used this with minimal and heavy makeup and it's worked really well. I can see the product easily removes the layers and I want to emphasise layers. It doesn't remove (say for example) all 3 layers of concealer, liquid foundation and powder you have on but it really makes a good attempt at it. I don't use this on my eyes or lips because my eye makeup remover does a better job of that than any other product I've come across.

With continued use I feel like this might actually take the place of Garnier Micellar. The only downside I have is the scent. Simple claims that this has no artificial fragrance - I wish it did. It smells like this flax in the islands that when it's soggy it doesn't smell too pleasant. It's not a disgusting scent but when I'm cleansing near my nose I always make a face. Apart from that I'm quite happy with it particularly because it's readily available in the supermarket for an affordable price.

Lovely product

I have been using micellar water for some months now and after using all my Loreal one I decided to try Simple. I find the two products pretty comparable, however this one is more affordable and I find the packaging more practical.

My skin always feels super clean after going over it with micellar water after my shower or after removing makeup and Ive had minimal breakouts since I began using it. I may give other brands a try but think I will definitely be repurchasing this one in the future :)

Tips: I use it with a cotton pad after removing makeup either in the shower or with makeup wipes to remove any excess dirt.

Get refreshed

Generally I'll wear a bb cream throughout the day and sometimes I forget to cleanse my skin before bed.

I've found this is a great way to cleanse my skin when I'm feeling really lazy. I keep my bedside table stocked with make up wipes and Micellar cleansing water now...then all I have to do is reach over wet a wipe with a squirt of this product and wipe my face for a refreshing clean. I also find in summer with all the heat my face perspires and a nice way to refresh my face after a swim or long day in just to flush my face with this product. It's for sensitive skin so I know it's not going to strip my skin of healthy oils too. This is a product I like to keep close at hand and I would recommend it to others.

Tips: Try splashing it on your skin after a day in the ocean or pools, you'll be amazed at how refreshed your skin feels afterwards.

Awesome affordable product

Love this product, removes make up very easy and does not irritate my eyes. I drench one make up pad and use both sides and it removes almost a full face of make up except my mascara. I then use another make up pad, one side to remove mascara then the other side to clear any remaining foundation. For the price I am not worried about using it sparingly and a bottle lasts me about 3 months of every day make up removal.

Simple Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water

I was selected to trial this product and I'm glad they picked me. I love the bottle - like it's name it's a simple design and I like the fact it's clear so you can see how much liquid you have left. I also like the straight forward easy to open and close lid.

I have never tried a micellar water before but I'm glad I tried this one. It did what it said it would and removed my foundation and mascara with ease whilst also leaving my skin feeling clean and hydrated. I have very sensitive skin and this product didn't leave me with any redness or irritation like so many stronger products do.

Overall I'd be happy to use this again and recommend it to friends and family.

Tips: Make sure you pour a decent amount on a cotton pad for best results. If you don't pour enough you will need to go back and cleanse twice.

Micellar water

I've used this product for a few days now and it's safe to say I really like it. It worked magic at removing my foundation and mascara but had a little trouble removing my Kat von d lip stain but we all know that's almost impossible to remove anyway short of using a scouring pad!. It left my skin feeling very clean, a little tight but that went away when I moisturised. It didn't mess around with my acne either which is a huge bonus as it can be set off by some products.I like the fact I can buy it at my local supermarket and was impressed to see our local one had it for cheaper than the RRP, we all like a bargain after all.My teenage daughter also used some last night and loved it so I'm certain I will be buying this again for 2 people not just myself

Simple Micellar Water

I was lucky enough to trial this product thank you BR.

It comes in a simple bottle with a cap. Nothing fancy but I've never been one to care too much for packaging, as long as the product works.

It claimes to have no scent which I agree with but since I've used other brands of Micellar Waters in the past, I've realised that they all smell lthe same, like old water (if that makes sense). I don't particularly like it but you get over it.

It has clear instructions on the back. Simply put product onto a cotton pad/ball and wipe over face. Will remove and cleanse skin.

Did it work, yes. I wear a full face of makeup 5-6 days a week for work. It definitely removed it. Some areas needing going over a couple of times. E.g: mascara and eyeliner but that didn't bother me. My face felt clean afterwards and I had no reaction to it.

I would definitely recommend it. It does exactly what other more expensive Micellar Waters do. I won't personally be re purchasing it for myself as I prefer my microfiber cloth but I am going to buy some for my sister who has sensitive skin.

Tips: This product is great for ladies with sensitive skin and you don't need a lot. Therefore being good value for money.

Simple Micellar Water Review

After using a more expensive brand of micellar water and loving it, I was curious to try this cheaper option.

Simple Micellar Water did not disappoint.

It removed all traces of my makeup and was gentle on my skin. There was no fragrance in the product and the packaging was not overly fussy. Easy flip lid that feels secure enough to throw in an overnight bag safely.

The only reason I had to take some points off its score was that I needed to apply the product a couple of times to remove my waterproof mascara - but no other product has ever successfully done this in one go either so the Simple brand hardly fails in comparison to them either.

At the price point this product would be hard to beat! As I say, even in comparison to a more expensive brand this options wins out. In fact, it's lack of fragrance (the more expensive brand was scented) is a bonus in my opinion. This product feels fresher and more pure.

While I try to be a good girl and follow a make up removal routine most nights, this Simple Micellar Water will be a staple as my back up make up removal option for those evenings I just can't be faffed with the whole routine :o)

Too Simple - did ya see what I did there... ;o)

Tips: Soak a make up removal pad or folded up tissue well and gently press onto the eyelash are to remove stubborn mascara. Gently sweep over the lashes to remove mascara and follow up with a second application to ensure removal of all mascara.

Simple and Effective

I usually use makeup remover wipes at the end of the day, so a Micellar water product was a new concept to me and I loved it. It cleaned my skin effortlessly, leaving it feeling fresh while also feeling hydrated. There were no dry patches and none of that uncomfortable feeling of tightening that I half expected from a water-based product as it dried. The only drawback for me was having to buy cotton pads to apply this product, but that does also have the added benefit of having control over the amount used. I really liked this and would definitely use it again. As I'm very lazy at times with my beauty routine, if this product was available as wipes, I would definitely be buying them in the future.

Tips: Use two cotton pads to sweep over the entire face and put moisturiser on while your face is still a little damp.
