Garnier Body Superfood Cocoa & Ceramide

I have quite dry skin especially in the summer months and this was a great way of combatting that. The product is easy to use, absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling great for hours afterwards.

I like that it's natural and the company don't test on animals as well. The smell is also great and I'd be keen to try the other options available. I will definitely be repurchasing.

I love cocoa butter, and as a teen/early 20s I used to religiously use Palmers. The smell of this Garnier Body Superfood brought back instant memories, but I must say I think this smells even better!

When you call something superfood, I think you're setting it up to smell delicious right? This does. And the scent lasts, I find myself huffing my arms during the day for a scent hit!

This is aimed at very dry skin and has been working a treat on my super dry legs and arms.

I like the tub format, you wont get any wastage or need to cut open tubes to avoid wastage.

Would I use it again? I would but I want to try the others first!

This was such a fabulous smelling and nourishing product for my skin! It applied easily and left my skin glowing and hydrated without being greasy or anything.

My first thoughts on this is that it looks almost identical to the conditioners of the same brand (the Hair Food) and the consistency of the product is almost the same also. This could make for an interesting experiment if you grabbed the wrong one for your shower. I would have preferred it to come in a bottle as I personally feel that is more hygienic than swiping your fingers in a tub.

The moisturizer is non greasy and absorbed by the skin quickly. It also has a strong perfume like smell, this does fade reasonably quickly so shouldn't interfere with your usual scent.

Since using it my skin does feel softer and there are less cracks on my hands. I did apply each morning after showering and I am unsure it would have lasted the 48hours suggested on the tub. I haven't trialed it long enough to see if there are ongoing benefits but early signs look promising.

All in all it's a good product, I will continue using it until it's gone but personally don't think I will purchase just due to the packaging.

When this arrived my kids were so excited to open it up! They called me from work to tell me about the smell and the feel and immediately launched into using it. We have subsequently all been fighting to have a go. It smells amazing, the package is huge and the texture is so soft and buttery. I have really dry skin and it has cured that on my skin! I have ditched all my other moisturisers for your body and am solely using this. I have noticed a massive difference in my shins and elbows. I think this will become our family staple. The big packaging means I don’t mind too much sharing with the girls!

I really, really wanted to trial this body butter and I am so lucky and thankful that I got to. I absolutely love the Garnier Fructis hair food so I was wondering if I would feel the same way about this body superfood. Well, yes, yes and yes! I love it and I am going to try each of the flavours. This body superfood comes in a sturdy 380ml recyclable plastic tub which is good for the world. The labelling is attractive with a lot of information on it so you can make an informed choice when you are shopping. I chose the cocoa and ceramide one because my skin has started to become dry and the label states :very dry skin:. The first time I used this was in the morning after my shower. I spread it onto my legs, hands and arms. The formula is thick and creamy and smells wonderful. The scent is not overpowering though, which is great because it wont clash with your fragrance. As I smoothed it over my legs I could see instantly a transformation of my skin. I looked smooth and nourished. It absorbed really well and I didn't feel like I was covered in a thick layer of cream, which can happen with some body butters I have used. The label states 48 hour repairing butter and I was super interested to see how true that statement was. I paid special attention to my arms and legs that evening to see how they looked and felt and I was so happy. My skin looked and felt as soft and smooth as it did that morning. The following morning I applied the superfood again after my shower and my skin just got better and better. I didn't realise just how dry it was until I used this. This will be part of my daily routine from now on, and I am excited to try the other flavours.

The packaging is pretty much the same as most body butters. It comes in a plastic tub which you unscrew to allow you to get into the jar. I love this kind of packaging as it’s easy to use and you can get every last drop of the cream. The container is also great for re-using once it’s empty to store other things, like paint, for instance, if you don’t want to paint straight out of a large tin. The consistency of the body butter is really nice, not too thick as you find with some body butters. It goes on easily and smells divine. It soaks in well and it left my skin feeling really soft. I would allow it to just soak in for a few minutes before dressing.

My skin tends to be dry and I definitely felt that my skin was so much more hydrated and moist when using this body butter.

I will definitely use this body butter again when I run out of this jar.

I I have really thirsty skin, and am constantly on the lookout for a really hydrating cream that works. At last I think I have found it in Body Superfood! Usually I find body creams are either too thin and milky or so thick they are really difficult to work into the skin. This Superfood is perfect in that it sinks into the skin easily yet feels really rich. It smells lovely with the cocoa butter, but at the same time is not overwhelming. Hints of coconut too. I have been using it twice a day and my really dry skin has thanked me for doing so. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I was on the hunt for a new body butter when my favourite one just got too expensive for me, so I tried the Garnier Body Superfood repairing butter. It comes in a very generous size and the price point is great. It is thicker than a moisturiser but not as thick as a traditional body butter - but it does give a deep moisturising effect, which does last a long time. I really like the cocoa smell which is quite strong when you first put it on, but only a mild scent throughout the day. I definitely recommend it and it has become my go-to body butter now.

The packaging is appealing ,stands out and definitely would attract me to look at it ,it has good information clearly marked on the container about the product ,however I would prefer it had an inner seal on it .,and a tighter lid and I wasn’t sure if it was recyclable.

On opening it look thick and creamy and felt lovely on my hands ,which is the first place I tried it ,then my legs which get very dry ,it felt somewhat sticky,greasy at first but within minutes had absorbed in to my skin .

After a few days I felt it had hydrated my skin quite well so why I have said it did live up to my expectations ,so for that reason I would recommend to a friend .

However the biggest downside for me was the fragrance,I did not like it and found it very overpowering,I like to wear perfume and this would not be a good mix ,it was the only smell I could smell and for that reason alone I would not purchase it for myself .

Real shame as the product did work quite well for me .,However i did have to use quite a lot to get the hydration I need for my skin . Price wise it is average not too expensive .
