Vaseline Intensive Care Total Spray Moisturiser Review

Another grand gem from the BRBB. I used to go through so much Vaseline moisturiser in my teenage years you would almost think I had shares in them. that or we had such a limited selection in our small town waaaay back then (the 90s) back when I was sport crazy and lived in shorts so legs were always on display and HAD to be covered in moisturiser. anyway with so many options available to us nowadays I never seem to think of the "old school" products it's always the latest and newest so it was a wee bit of a trip down memory lane although Vaseline have come to the party and decided to put their moisturiser in an aerosol can. Who knew! I was sceptical at first I didn't think it would spray out evenly and also thought it wouldn't spray a good mist. I thought it would clog up the nozzle. But see I love these products because you don't have high expectations yet they blow your mind!

It sprays a fine mist with ease. Another thing I'm surprised with is how you actually don't need to spray too much once you have sprayed you just quickly rub it in and hey presto your done it absorbs quickly into my skin and doesn't leave any sticky or greasy residue. It definitely has the trademark Vaseline scent to it which is nice it's not overpowering. The can itself has a twist top to lock it on or off. Perfect for when you take it with you it isn't going to spray all through your bag. I really like this product and I can't fault anything. Will I buy again? Yes!!

How did I only just discover this!? I know it's been out for ages, but why did I not just do it sooner? Stop reading this review and go buy this moisturiser! It's light- almost light to the point of you thinking it's not going to do much, but it completely sinks in leaving your skin quenched abd super soft. You could literally put rubber pants on immediately following this application and have no issues! There's no sticky or wet or greasy residue, just silky skin. I never used to moisturise my body right before bed because I hate that clammy feeling against the sheets, but there's none of that! It spreads easily and is really economical because the spray is so fine and easy to control. If the amazing formula wasn't enough, this spray can is brilliant! So often cans have a really fast, hard spray with a stiff nozzel (home spray tan! Grr) and your habd gets all slippery when trying to press it down and you get patchy applications and then you get angry and give up and throw things? Seem familiar? No such nonsense here! A light pressure is all that's needed for a light, steady application AND you can flip it upside down to do your back! So much amazing! This is a dream cone true for lazy girls. I have such little patience when it comes to applying lotion and waiting for it to dry that a would only do it two or three times a week, but I've been using using it every day. Even the boyfriend commented on how nice my skin feels. 100% sold.

Ive been umming and ahhing over this product and actually purchased it just before receiving the March box, funny how these things work! I purchased the cocoa glow and received the original yellow one in the box, I by far prefer the smell of the cocoa glow.

I love the packaging it comes in as it's very functional, I think the lockable lid is something that should be on so many more products. I like the look of it too, it looks pretty modern and is an good size to grip easily. If you want to you can tip it upside down to spray and the product just keeps flowing.

Vaseline is not a brand I would normally choose as it's pretty old fashioned and I really don't enjoy the fragrance, but this new release (especially the cocoa glow) somehow smells better than I remember it.

It does absorb pretty quickly into my skin and doesn't leave it feeling greasy. I feel it's a very light moisturizer so wouldn't recommend it to anyone with very dry skin.

I'm torn on re purchasing as $10.99 seems too high for the actual amount of product you receive but if I found it on special I would consider it.

Boy oh boy did this product generate some excitement after a few bottles of wine amongst friends! the girls came over and they couldn't get over moisturiser in a can- which i did think was a fantastic idea!One said ;oh look tan in a can' and sprayed her arm with it.

Its really fun to use this product- although if your silly with it , you will find it is so easy to over spray and you can end up in a hot mess. It actually made me think of spray on suncream- my sisters constantly chasing after my nephew with it. So it makes me think of sun cream whenever I use it.

The consistency is pretty good- its not sticky, or overbearing unless you over spray the product. I did find you have to really work it into the skin its not a "spray and go product'. I.e not for when we are in a lazy mood and expect to spray a fine mist and then walk out to work instantly moisturized all over.

Good things take time- so rub rub rub in all over !and wash your hands!

I picked up the Vaseline Intensive Care Total Spray Moisturiser when it was first released, after seeing it on a television advertisement. The advertisement gave me the impression that when using this product, you could spray and not have to rub it in. Instead, the moisturiser is sprayed onto the skin, but is in no other way different to a standard Vaseline moisturiser. It leaves an obvious but lightweight layer of moisturiser on the skin, that must be rubbed into the skin to absorb. I found the formula lightweight, but it took the same amount of time to absorb without being as hydrating as a thicker moisturiser. To me, the formula looks and feels like watered down standard Vaseline moisturiser. I tried putting tights on two minutes after using this product and they were sticking to my legs and ended up with white marks - just like a standard moisturiser. The scent is standard, summery and doesn't clash with my perfume.

The Vaseline Intensive Care Total Spray Moisturiser would come in handy during the summer, when you wanted to feel cool and refreshed, however I cannot think of any other reason that I would reach for this product. I was hesitant to share my thoughts because everyone else seems to love it, but my experience with the product was not amazing.

This product is great. When I opened up my BRBB I thought I had got a tanning product as it's the same colour and some of the tanning product packages but it's just because it contains Royal Jelly I guess? Anyway - great coverage and it does rub in really quickly. The difference between this and most moisturisers is the consistency. It has a light airy feel to it that isn't oily and sticky. It doesn't leave any residue and leaves a soft vanilla scent. It smells like summer but can overpower your perfume. You can get a really thick amount of spray if you hold the nozzle down too hard so just a light pressure and you get a great amount of product. It's now my go to moisturiser as it's so easy and I'm so bad at remembering to moisturise! My skin loves me for this!

This was an item I have been eyeing up in the supermarket for a long time due to the fact that I hate moisturizing. I know how important it is, but it just seems to be a step in my beauty regime that I undervalue, or just forget to do. So when I got this product in my BRBB, I was very excited to try a product that seemed to make this step easier.

This moisturizer comes in a pressurized can, which is pale yellow in colour, and has the standard Vaseline logo and wee details that I haven’t actually had the time to read. The cap on the Vaseline product twist either side to lock and unlock the spray which I find very handy because this is a product I would take out and about with me, so its handy to know it wont be spraying itself in my bag.

When this moisturizer is sprayed, it looks like milky water because it’s very thin, and it is the same colour as the packaging. Not exactly the nicest looking moisturizer but let’s face it, its need to be this thin in order to work with the design on the packaging. It has quite a fake smell to it, which isn’t really my thing. I find this moisturizer super easy to use, and is great for people like me who seem to neglect moisturizing their skin. I do find this product does leave a greasy residue for at least 5 minutes before my skin does fully absorb it, so a bit different from what Vaseline promises, but I’m glad that the thin formula of this product does actually provide hydration to my skin.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about this product. It is convenient, but in all honesty it probably isn’t a product I am going to rush and repurchase just because I do think it is pricey for a moisturizer that doesn’t give my skin really long lasting hydration, especially since for 3 seasons of the year my skin does get really dry and I have other moisturizers that I would prefer to use.

I have all three flavours of this stuff. I use it every single day. This is a lazy girl like me's dream. I much prefer thin moisturisers for my body, however know that may put some people who prefer creamier mositurisers off. But for me, it's just what i'm after. It's cut my getting ready time in half. And it's super handy to take on the go in case you want to top up during the day.

I absolutely love this moisturiser. I'll be honest, when I first saw the advertisement for it I was like really its just a moisturiser and then it came on all the time and drove me crazy.

I've never really been a huge Vaseline fan in the past so it was interesting to see how this product would hold up. Well......

Surprised and amazed are the words I would describe this product, so much easier to use as its a spray and smooth routine, super fast and no more trying to squeeze from a tube or bottle. It smells so good too, not sure if it has a vanilla type scent to it but it smells so yummy, kind of floral. I love the ease of use, the smell, makes my skin feel so soft and I'm not usually one to moisturise even though I know I'm supposed to lol.

The only thing I don't like about it and its not actually the product inside the spray bottle, its the actual sound of it, every time you squeeze it, the sound is a bit loud and irritating. It gets a little annoying but the product is great so I try not to listen to the sound, maybe plug in some earphones and an ipod when applying ha ha ha. Such a great price too as its lasting me quite a while. Will definitely repurchase this product and continue to use.

Hands down the best moisturiser i've ever used. Moisturising was my beauty hate for a very long time until I used this. Super fast absorbing and non greasy immediately screams winner to me. With a lighter texture than usual moisturisers it leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised whilst still being able to get changed straight away. My absolute favourite and perfect for summer.
