Good moisturiser if your skin is quite dry, or needs a bit of moisture. For me it was definitely too heavy to put on in the morning because my skin was so oily by the end of the day. I think its perfect for at night time though especially during winter when sometimes you can wake up and your skin feels dehydrated. I also wouldn't use this during the summer time as it's too heavy for my skin.

This is a beautiful cream which has niacinamide for brightening, squalane and hyaluronic acid for smoothing and plumping. I have to say I absolutely love the cute pink and white packaging it comes in. After testing this out for quite some time I’ve noticed some things. I really enjoying applying it on slightly damp skin (like out of the shower) I find it feels so much more hydrated (possibly cause of the hyaluronic acid). It gives a gorgeous sheen/gloss on the skin. Only use a pea size amount as the tiniest bit goes a long way) It is best to apply this before sunscreen as I found it pilled weirdly on top of it? Perhaps it is the sunscreen I use (a Korean one). Also I have to mention the scent is all natural and it smells SO good - all in all, softer, hydrated glowy skin. It’s a win for me.
First impressions when I saw the product was that the packaging was very cute! Nice wee pink jar it came in and when I unscrewed the lid the smell of coconut made my mouth water!
The consistency is that of a thinner cream, so not heavy at all. It is an opaque cream not a watery thin cream but felt like I was applying a watery thin cream. It is a bit sticky which I attribute to the coconut element so when applying before your moisturiser (as directed to do so on the packaging) I did have to wait for it to 'dry down' before applying moisturiser. Because it is a lighter cream, layering of cosmetics is not a problem at all. I used cream followed by moisturiser and sunscreen and I didn't find it to be heavy at all. On some days, I also applied a cream bronzer and it did not make application any different or make my bronzer 'glide' around my face. Key step is to make sure that you let it dry down and not be as sticky/tacky.
I found application really straight forward and easy to use. The scent of coconut is such a nice smell. Not too overpowering but enough to be there and last the entire day! I loved it!
I typically get really dry in the cooler months and certain areas of my face can become flaky. I found that the cream really helped in those areas and made me feel less dry. I also noticed that my skin was a bit 'dewy' which I really liked and didn't mind at all as I saw it as locking in the moisture. I applied a few dots around my face (the size of my pink nail) and rubbed it in. A little goes a long way.
I didn't notice any sensitivity when applying the cream so that is always a bonus!
Given the size of the jar, I didn't think it would last me that long but I was wrong. I think with consistent use in your daily routine, this would last a good two to three months.
Given the price ($28.99 from Chemist Warehouse at the time of writing) I think it fits perfectly with the product and don't think it is overpriced at all given the active ingredients in there and how nice it made my skin feel.
The packaging is very beautiful. The baby pink is definitely something that I like about it and the holographic logo. I found because of the coconut scent, it added to the aesthetic of the brand and made it different to others in the market and makes it look nice when placed with my other creams. Makes me reach for it more!
Overall, I think that this cream is really nice and does what it says it would do - main ones for me where tackling the dryness and leaving my skin feeling soft and radiant. I have already started to look at the other products in the range so I guess that means I'll be buying it again after I run out. The coconut scent is such a positive for me! It is the perfect amount of coconut fragrance and not too much that it overdoes it. Left me smelling amazing all day!
Tips: Let the product dry down before applying other cosmetics as product is a bit tacky.
It's a decent all day cream it is a little heavy on skin at first but because the product is cold it feels refreshing so I don't mind the heaviness, there is a little scent to the product which is quite nice and not so over powering all in all its a decent product I would put have again
I genuinely love this. Since Sugarbaby rebranded I’ve been super curious to try their skincare - I already have one of their face masks, which I love, so I was excited to try this moisturiser coming into the winter months where my skin starts to get a little dry and flaky. First off, their packaging is gorgeous. They’ve totally nailed the rebrand, down to the cardboard box it comes in. The pot itself feels high end in quality, and the logos are super cute. The actual cream reminds me of a gel-cream consistency, which worried me as in the past I’ve found these to never be that hydrating. But this one is great. The scent is very mild, just a very subtle coconut-ish scent. When applying it, it feels quite cooling which is especially nice after a hot shower. It feels rich and hydrating on the skin, and sinks in nicely - but not to the point of feeling like it’s disappeared. It seems to agree with my skin, no breakouts or reactions. My skin has felt really balanced and hydrated in the two weeks I’ve used it, and on the super cold days where my skin feels extra dry I noticed I can load up quite a lot of this on my skin without it pilling or sitting funny on my skin. It also mixes perfectly with my face tanning drops which is a big bonus.
Overall, I love this, and the name Dream Cream is totally fitting. I will definitely be purchasing this once I run out!
I really loved the packaging on this product. It’s a really pretty pink colour and it looks a lot nicer among my products than other brands with boring packaging. The face cream has a coconut scent and it’s texture is nice - although I think some people might find it a bit tacky it dries down ok. I really like to use it after face oils and serums to lock them in and I think this is when it’s most effective. On its own, it doesn’t really add much vibrancy or glow, which I think is because the ingredients are more hydrating and perfecting. It’s moderately effective at plumping but I wouldn’t say it’s amazing and I don’t know how effective it would be for people older than me (I’m 25) as I feel like it’s formulated for people in their teens/early 20s. It’s a nice product, but after checking out the price point I probably wouldn’t repurchase it unless it was on sale.
Tips: The texture of this face cream makes it perfect for locking in face oils!
Looking at the box initially I was first drawn to the colours which are very unique, the light pink and white is a colour combination I haven't seen much in other skin care lines. The bottle is elegant and has a lot of product inside even though it does look small, a little bit of cream goes a long way meaning this will last a long time. I used this the way the box instructed twice daily in the morning and night. The cream felt light on my skin and left a silky finish on the skin. My skin feels a lot more hydrated during the day which is great since I have quite dry skin. I can see the hyaluronic acid making my skin look more plump. I love that it doesn't leave any greasy or sticky residue, which makes it perfect for use under makeup. My makeup doesn't clump and sits as it normally does. My skin is sensitive and I'm always very excited to find a product that doesn't cause any reaction like this one. I love that this is vegan and has organic ingredients, it always feels like this will be better for my skin. The scent is a subtle coconut scent - I don't usually like coconut scents because they're normally very overpowering, but I found this to be very subtle and pleasant. I'll probably be buying this again once my bottle finishes.
Not a bad face cream, pretty moisturising, and works okay for dry sensitive skin like mine. The fragrance/smell is a bit off-putting though. Looks like this product is pretty affordable but the price factor isn’t enough for me to swap from my normal face cream (Kiehls).
Firstly, the packaging of this product is very cute and girly! The fragrance is also lovely and coconutty. It has a nice thick consistency to it so you don't need too much, making it pretty economical. It went onto the skin well and soaked in relatively quickly, but while it was soaking in, it did feel a little bit clammy to the touch. My skin definitely felt moisturised after using it, but unfortunately it did give me a small breakout for the first week or so. Overall, I would probably recommend this as a night cream, considering it's quite thick and doesn't have spf in it. But beware of a possible settling-in period if you've got sensitive or acne-prone skin.
I didn't have a lot of time to review this, but it seems pretty good. The scent was a bit too strong to put on my face, and so I put it on my neck area and it just smells so good! Like sweet vanilla or something. Definitely would purchase again just for the smell lol! But I don't like the idea of putting fragrance on my face as I have very sensitive skin there. I have noticed my neck stays smooth, though, so that's nice.
