This is a product that I had to get after purchasing the other bottle Clinique makes I thought I'd see how this one works. Well it works, the component is similar a pglass looking plastic bottle with a pump yay for sanitation. The formula is a light weight almost cream liquid almost gel and it isn't sticky for being a gel but it does adhere or absorb rather into the skin. Leaving no traces behind. The feeling is not harsh and doesn't interfere with my skins mantle. There's no reactions and the skin does seem to be moisturised. This is recommended to be used both am & pm,with that being said I used it as my am cream and had a night cream because of the fact it wasn't a heavy product it didn't feel like my skin would get the pm treatment it requires. Doesn't interfere with the layer being under my sunscreen primer and makeup. Left my skin looking bright and moist but not oily. Downfall of a pump is you cnat get every bit out I'd say the last 1/3 of the bottle was wasted because of this reason and for the price that was disappointing. So I'd rather that it came in a pottle but do understand its sanitary to be in a pump they jsut need to sort that part out.

This is ok. I would say some skin types would suit this a lot more than mine. My skin craves a lot more from a moisturiser.
It's a great looking bottle and product very modern.
Light non greasy, pale yellow formula that does speread nicely over the skin. But any moisture quickly escapes me. My skin craves more moisture and for a longer period of time so it's really only ok. If you are happy to use more and reapply - your sorted but I wear makeup everyday and I can't be putting this over that repeatedly.. this would be expensive to do also as it's not cheap.
It does last a while and you don't seem to use much as the nozzle head if quite fine but it's still a bit pricey.
I recommend going to Clinique counter and testing this or getting a sample which they usually happily dish out.
Tips: Try a sample
I have been using the Dramatically Different Moisturiser for years and although I loved it, it was slightly too oily for me. When I noticed that they did a gel version (oil free) I was sold. I adore the texture it’s light and easily absorbed and leaves my skin feeling soft but not greasy. It’s about $69 for a bottle (plastic with a pump top) which is definitely not on the cheaper side but one bottle lasts me about 4-6 months so I don’t mind paying slightly more. Because it is so lightweight it can be used alone or with an SPF and still leaves the skin smooth. I like to switch it up now and then but this is definitely a staple in my beauty regime.
This product is fantastic! It levels out the oils and water in your skin. My skin was very hydrated and smooth, my skin soaked it up. The Gel was nice and cooling in my skin. It helped with dry spots and keeping my oils at bay. My makeup sat nicely on top of this.
Tips: I put it in the fridge to get it nice and cold then apply it to my skin. It makes it extra refreshing and help with my bags
I absolutely love this product and used to use it regularly but it's quite expensive and not always affordable if you are using it over face and neck twice a day as recommended. It is soft to the touch and has a very silky feel. Absorbs quickly and leave skin feeling lovely and supple although the effect did not last as long as some of the other Clinique moisturisers I have used. I have a combination skin and found it good for all areas for short term use or when in a drier climate.
I bought this product as the counter was all out of the lotion I usually use (I'm a Clinique Girl at heart!) and thought it would be just as good. The texture is nice as it goes on, its easy to apply and the look and odour are very similar to the lotion. As the product dried I found that it stretched the skin, similar to a face mask - making it tight, although this only lasted a couple of seconds. Over the course of the day though, I found that the areas on my face that are prone to being greasy, became more greasy than usual, The bottle lasted a good few months, but my skin couldn't adjust to the difference.
I did use the whole bottle, I went back to the lotion afterwards.
Tips: A great alternative to the lotion, however not ideal for combination skin or greasy skin types.
This gel formula for this reminds me a little of the moisture surge range, but it is the same colour as the lotion in this range. The gel is light and feels moisturizing for me, but it is not as good on my combo skin as the lotion. The gel version is designed for people with oily skin, maybe my skin isn't as oily as I thought but it could be due to the clay mask I had done as well since it seems to be fine when I haven't used the mask. I normally prefer wearing this during the day and seems to be ok with layering primer and liquid foundation over the top. The gel texture reminds me of the moisture surge range by Clinique as well but does not deliver the same amount of moisture as that to the skin. I haven't noticed any scent in this and the back does say fragrance free. There is no sunscreen in it so you will need to apply this separately. I guess I expected a bit more from this product for the price.
I love this moisturiser! It is so light and refreshing and absorbs quickly which is great for my rushed morning routine. The only slightly annoying thing with this moisturiser is that I found if I didn't apply it smooth enough and make sure it was all over my skin, my powder foundation would refuse to stick to any parts with no moisturiser and sometimes show lines from my finger strokes. No biggy just had to make sure I was consistent with the application. I like that this moisturiser has no smell and doesn't feel too drying even though it's a gel so great for my skin as it can get quite oily towards the end of the day. It lasts forever! I think I've had mine for around a year and am only just running out (I do use a different moisturiser at night). You only need a pump or two for your whole face and it's easy to dispense the perfect amount.
Tips: If you use powder foundation, make sure you're consistent with your application.
I have oily acne-prone skin and 2 years ago, I switched to the Clinique 3-step system to target my problematic skin. This was my moisturiser and I love it! I repurchased this and still use it as my every day moisturiser. It's light and gets absorbed easily on the skin. It also doesn't break me out which is important. It hydrates my skin and it doesn't irritate it. This is my go-to product and there is a reason why this is one of Clinique's top products.
This is a great variation on the classic DDM, as it is known by Clinique fans. It is a slightly lighter lotion, and is quickly absorbed into the skin. It does leave a light layer on the skin but it doesn't feel filmy at all. This is great for oilier skins and for all skins during a hot humid summer. I swore by this stuff when I lived in Japan! My skin tends towards the drier side now I am in the ‘mature’ category so I don’t find myself reaching for it anymore.
This is a really good basic moisturiser but this in itself does make it quite pricey. It just doesn't have the thrills or high tech ingredients of other moisturisers in the same price band. I’m unlikely to purchase it again but would definitely recommend it to anyone with oily skin that is still in need of hydration.
