Garnier Green Labs Hylu-Melon Routine

I loved using these products on my face and have now incorporated them into my daily routine they are gentle on my skin, they do what they say they do and they both smell amazing like watermelon. My skin felt so fresh and clean after using the cleanser and it removed every trace of dirt and make up from my face. The serum cream was great too, leaving my skin feeling smooth and soft and hydrated. Love that it's a 3 in 1 formula with built in SPF. Overall, they are both great products that compliment each other well. The bottles are made from recycled material, it has a vegan formula and cruelty free - what's not to love about it?!

I really enjoyed this skin routine. The face wash smelt gorgeous and made my skin feel well hydrated and soft. The moisturiser was thicker than I expect, but sunk in beautifly and I enjoyed the is included a serum and SPF.

This trial really gave me a kick up the bum to start a proper routine for my skincare.

And what a perfect product combo to do it with! My skin feels tighter, looks brighter, and is less oily. Although it is almost winter, I appreciate the SPF, especially watching my son's rugby on an autumn morning - that sun is still dangerous!

I can see this combo being a fixture in my life for a while :)

I'm the first to admit I can sometimes be a bit of a skincare snob, and just assume the most expensive products are the best. It's fair to say that life is expensive, so I was pleasantly surprised at these two products. The cleanser is so gentle, it didn't sting my eyes, but took off my make up including my mascara. The serum cream, what a great name for it! My usual routine incorporates a serum, a moisturizer and a sunscreen. This cream was enough that I did not need a serum as well. The scent on these products is also nice, its very fresh, and lightly melon-like. I didn't have any dry skin patches, nor did i have anywhere super oily. I am sure I wasn't drinking enough water during the trial period, but you couldn't tell by my skin! I guess the hydration in these products must be good. I also like the colour of the packaging, it is pastel enough that it isn't in your face, but its still a pretty colour.

I always thought a cleanser was just a cleanser, removes make up and be done with it. But this actually hydrates your skin, and top it off with the 3n1 serum cream! My skin has never looked so good. My makeup goes on so well, it looks so smooth. I'm absolutely loving this combo!

Separately I did not love these products, and the same goes for them together. While I certainly did not dislike them, I’m just not sure Garnier have got them quite right. Throughout my trial I used them separately on some days and together on others to see if I could find the pairing they have indicated there is. I could not see that using the cleanser before the serum made any difference to how the serum performed, nor did I find that my face felt any different when the serum was not used. I think these two products do what they say they do on a fundamental level, but I’m not sure they’re game changing as a “routine”. I had hoped, based on the marketing, that these two products would work together to reduce and remove impurities, smooth and plump my skin and increase hydration, while tackling fine lines and unfortunately while it does hit some marks (hydration and plumping) I did not see any difference to impurities , smoothness or fine lines. A good offering for those just delving into skincare routines, but may not satisfy those who need the help with fine lines and other signs of aging,

Cleanser: Has an almost gel-like texture, and smells faintly watermelon under the floral. Pleasant without being overbearing.

I use a silicone facial cleansing brush for my face, this cleanser does clean my face well and removes makeup, without leaving me overly dry and tight. My face feels almost plump. The smell doesn't cling to the skin after.

No dramatic difference to fine lines that I can see within the short trial time, though my forehead lines might be a wee bit softer.

Serum: Twist lock on the pump, but it doesn't come with a cap. Serum is a white creamy texture that spreads easily and absorbs fast on clean skin. Smells pleasant.

I love that it has SPF, easy one step in the morning to apply. The smell doesn't linger for too long on the skin and I do feel moisturised after using it.

Routine: The combination of the two products does provide some moisturising, and subtle plumping effects.

I was lucky enough to be able to review both the cleanser and serum thanks to beauty review. I found both the cleanser and serum were lovely products and mostly did what they were intended for. The cleanser was easy to use and came in a generously large tube which was easy to squirt my hand. The product was thick and took a bit more washing to remove the product. It definitely removed makeup with ease however I wouldn’t say it plumped my face and removed fine lines. The serum I used after the cleanser and moisturiser. It was easy to apply with a couple of pumps the product glided onto my face it has a lovely cooling sensation which is refreshing. The smell is strong but nice however my skin prefers non fragranced products. I felt my skin was much softer after use and seemed more plumper than usual it definitely seemed to help aid my dry skin. Both products sell for a reasonable price which makes it affordable to most people. I would recommend giving the two products a go together for the best results.

I was so excited to trail this routine as I heard that hyaluronic acid is great for the skin. I would have to agree with this now that I've used it because my skinnis feeling so hydrated and fresh feeling. The milky wash cleans my skin so well and leaves it feeling soft and clean. I love not having that dried out feeling you sometimes get with facial cleansers. The smell of the melon fragrance is so lovely, subtle but strong enough to enjoy without being over powered. The replumping serum cream is fantastic and I love putting it on my skin, it makes it feel so supple. The spf factor is a real must for me and I love that it has that in there. Alway have to protect your skin from the sun. Overall I'm really impressed with this skin routine and will be purchasing this asap so I can continue to use these lovely products.

I feel this would be a really nice skincare routine for someone whos skin is on the dry sidebut also had the tendency to breakout. This routine always made my skin feel lovely and soft. I think with continued use i notice an improvement to my fine lines. These products used together i think complement each other really well. They leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed and non drying. Love them!!
