L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Fragrance-Free Hydrating Cream

Have to start by saying... I love it. It is like using a cream but not knowing you are. It is a nice luxurious thickness but is so light at the same time. I have very sensitive skin that can sting when products are applied but not with this cream ... it applies so smoothly and easily and absorbs super quick and if it wasn't hydrating my skin and leaving it feeling smooth on application I wouldn't think I had applied a product at all. Makeup goes on so nicely straight after applying. It isn't sticky or greasy and it doesn't get oily during the day ... it feels like it is almost acting like a primer too! The cream is fragrance free but still obviously has a slight scent which is very mild and reminds me of something from my childhood which makes me happy. I haven't used it long enough to see a difference in my wrinkles but I definitely feel like my skin looks and feels smoother, more hydrated and just better. I like that L'Oreal are making an effort environmentally and have designed a recyclable glass jar that also contains recycled glass. Not only is it environmentally friendly but it is easily recognisable as a L'Oreal cream, it is solid, easy to hold and the lid is easy to take off and put back on and feels very secure. I will be continuing to use this hydrating cream and I feel this has quickly become my go-to day cream. In all honesty, I look forward to applying it every morning.

I can’t testify yet 100% if it lifts and reduces wrinkles because I haven’t tried it for long enough. But I love the way it feels on my skin. It comes in the classic Revitalift red and white and the cream is as promised fragrance free. It’s great because it doesn’t smell of anything, not like a slightly chemical smell that some fragrance free creams have. I love that it feels so nourishing but non greasy like nearly all face creams I try are. The true test will be hot summer months when I get really oily I guess but so far great for winter!

I have never really considered buying a fragrance free product until recently when I started using retinol products at night, and some products were stinging my face during the day. I'm guessing it is a bit more sensitive with the retinol use, and fragrances seemed to make the stinging worse. When I saw this trial, I thought this might be the perfect solution - and it is! Having no fragrance has been amazing for my skin, I have had no itchiness, redness or just general stinging that I sometimes get from very fragranced moisturizers. I think I will find it hard to go back to fragranced creams, but I do miss having sunblock in my moisturiser, so will need to add that in too. Overall the texture of this product is lovely, thick and smooth, and feels great on my skin. It leaves the slightest oily feeling, but not too bad at all. I have found that it pills/balls a little bit with some serums or other products under it, but only slightly.

Overall, I would definitely use this again, particularly when my skin is feeling sensitive from other products, or if its winter and my skin is a bit sore anyway.

I have started to notice fine lines and dryness in my skin, likely from getting that little bit older (which I really don't like to admit) and facing a winter of dry skin from being indoors far too much. The L'Oreal Revitalift Hydrating Cream was just the jar of magic that I didn't know I needed. The box claims anti-wrinkle and extra firming, exactly what I was looking for, and it is for sensitive skin which was perfect. The jar itself is squarish in shape, easy to open and the product is easy to get out . The scent is very light, almost not even detectable. The cream itself is luxurious, not greasy and easy to apply. It absorbed into my skin immediately and I was able to put make up on with ease.

I used this cream in the morning, before applying my makeup and in the evening before bed, My skin became more hydrated, less dry, and brighter looking. The fine lines may take a little longer to lessen as time goes on using the product.

This product is very reasonably priced, easy to use, has fantastic results and both the box and glass jar are recyclable. The cream is made in Germany, which equates to quality. I can recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin (or normal skin) who wants to see their skin hydrated and refreshed. This product out performs other (very expensive) brands that I have used in the past.
