Drop The Sex

This bath bomb has me all confused with it's name "Sex Bomb'. There was nothing about this bath bomb that was "Sex"y. It is more like a flower bath bomb.

The bath bomb Is pink and purple with what looks like a rose in it.Once dropped into the water and dissolved the rose falls apart and petals float around the bath. It looks lovely but the petals are quite slimey not attractive at all. The colour of the water turns a nice pastel pinky purple colour but it defienetly is a softer colour than say what the Intergalatic Bath Bomb is.

I was hoping for a very sensual sexy smell from this bomb but it kinda reminded me of my Nanas house, flowery. I hate to say it but this bath bomb is my least fave. The smell and colour are both quite dissapointing. The smell fades rather quickly too.

One good thing about it, it is rather moisturising to soak in. My skin felt amazing once I had gotten out of the bath and the very next day to. I didn't need to moisturize as my skin was so soft and beautiful!

I'm glad i tried this bomb out but I won't be re purchasing this one again.

Sex Bomb

I bought this bomb at Lush Botany after seeing all the hype about it. Its a pretty decent size so definitely worth the money. Very pretty to look at and smells nice as well. I smelled jasmine mostly but also rose? Dont know if rose was in it or not.

Its a very feminine color of pink and purple. Shows a hint of flower at the top which I thought was very suggestive (weird mind). I used it together with a bath melt and a bubble bar. As soon as I added to the water it started fizzing away. Very pigmented as it turned the pink water a more vibrant and brighter shade. But it didnt stain the bath or my body.

I was prepared for the slimy flower but it just remindedme of soggy rice crackers. I just dissolved iteoth my hands. The water does turn a little opaque.

In terms of the smell, its not very strong and wafts away so definitely do share with partner as they wont be overwhelmed by the scent. Even left a very subtle scent on skin (which can be washed away-personal preference) and left my skin very soft. Definitely felt relaxed after the bath but not romantically inclined :-p

If you want a generic pretty bath bomb than go for this but if you a helping hand in the bedroom than this is not for you.

Average bathbomb

The flower in this one needs to go! Felt super fleshy and a little gross to be floating around the whole time. The colour is super pigmented but unfortunately i will not use again as i got an irritation on my legs. I have used heaps of the bubble bars and this is the first lush product i have had a reaction to. So unfortunately i will not use this one again!

More Of A Flower Bomb

The lush sex bomb bath bomb is pitched as the romantic bath bomb.

It is a pink and purple bath bomb with a pink soapy like flower in the center.

The bath bomb itself fizzes itself out relatively quickly, but the jelly/soapy like flower remains.

As a look and smell it's gorgeous but the leftovers are a little strange. I also don't like the name as I think something pretty like this should be pitched as something that doesn't sexual connotations because at the end of the day it's just a flowery bath bomb.

My Favourite Lush Product

This was the first ever bath bomb that I picked up from lush and I have been obsessed ever since. It turns your bath water a lovely shade of pink, smells like fresh jasmine and leaves your skin feeling sexy and extremely soft. It is always the first thing I recommend to friends that are trying lush bath bombs for the first time. It really turns bath time into a relaxing and magical experience.

Not so sexy?

I bought this purely based on its name and online meant I couldn't do the sniff test first. I have still enjoyed (too many) products bought from Lush online although I am sure I am missing out on a few nice ones too. This one is pretty from the get go... Pink, purple, a cute wee sugar flower... very feminine! and the premise feeling sexy was even more temptation.

It fizzes so fast it just disappears into the water all too fast (I know... BathBOMB no slow release lol), but leaves the water a beautiful shade of pink. The scent is strong jasmine and clary sage but not as much ylang-ylang as I had hoped (I was wishful that the clary sage would be the underwhelming component as it is not a scent I enjoy).

It was still a nice relaxing bath but I've had better ;) (had to go there didn't I?!)

Didn't live up to its expectations

Not my favourite bath bomb from lush unfortunately but it is one of the prettiest! I loved the look of the unused bath bomb and after hearing hype about it thought that it was going to be amazing! The scent was lovely and very relaxing, I found the rose petals to be very slimy which was a bit of a turn off so I ended up scooping them out. I do enjoy long baths and I found this to be one of the bath bombs that loses its scent quite quickly which was also a bit of a let down. The water itself was a gorgeous colour and it left me feeling relaxed and my skin super smooth!

Not my favourite but still a goodie.

Not my favourite bath bomb from Lush but its still a good one. I like how the smell wasn't overpowering but i also felt like it didn't have enough of a smell to it. I thought it was really cute how the flower in the middle wasnt a bath bomb and it sat as a cute little flower on the top of my bath water. It left my skin feeling luxuriously soft. I had a wonderful relaxing bath with this bath bomb because of the scents of ylang ylang and jasmine. The only downside for me is that ylang ylang is not a smell im particularly fond of, but it did relax me. It is also one of the cheaper bath bombs at Lush which is always a bonus.

Delicious Bath Treat!

Sex bomb is one of my favourite Lush bath bombs for a few different reasons. It smells incredible – it’s the perfect combination of jasmine and ylang ylang which leaves you feeling insanely relaxed, which is exactly what you are wanting after a good bath! The water turns a pretty pink/purple colour the rose petals are left floating in the bath and the water feels super creamy and luxurious. Highly recommend and will always come back to this delicious treat.

Sex Bomb Bathing is the best

This is my favourite bath bomb from Lush, the name itself makes it seem exciting and decadent. I love the colour it turns the water, a pretty purple pink and it goes creamy as well when the flower melts. That layer evokes the cleopatra in me and I really enjoy the relaxing scents and the softness of my skin after soaking in this. Highly recommended both for yourself and as a little gift for someone you know may be needing a boost.

Tips: Make sure the water temperature is hot enough to fully melt the flower.
