L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Re-Plumping Gel Wash

L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Re-Plumping Gel Wash promises smoother, firmer and plumped skin. I liked that the packaging has a clear window, allowing one to see when the product is running low. It smelled nice, the tube was easy to use in the shower or bath, and it lathered well.

I only wash my face with cleanser once a day, at night, and then with warm water only in the morning. I did use this twice daily, as recommended, but didn’t notice any difference in skin tone or plumping. It did feel good on my skin though, without stripping my skin and leaving it feeling dry. However, it didn’t clean my oily skin as well as it should, and I started developing milia (hard pimple like bumps) on my forehead. Neutrogena Deep Clean seems to work better for me, so I’ll be switching back to that.

It seems pretty good, it smells nice, it's in a handy tube so easy to take in the shower with you. It foams up nicely and is easy to spread on and wash with. I don't think it has plumped my skin up however, and i sometimes wonder why i have to use it twice a day.. seems a bit over the top.

I love the Revitalift face products. This one especially.

I only need a small amount, about a ten cent piece to cover my face, it foams up and cleans all my makeup off including eye makeup.

It doesn't dry out my skin, which a lot of other products do. It leaves me feeling clean, smooth and firm.

It has a nice refreshing smell, nothing over powering. The tube lasts a long time as you only need a small amount and there is no wastage as it stand upside down.

Price is very cheap at about $10 from Chemist Warehouse.

i bought this in the vault because i needed a new face wash that wasnt going to dry me out, and i liked the sound of this! i loved the sound of it being hydrating but also plumped? come on.

its a clear gel and washes easily on my face. i like that. what i dont like is the feeling after. if my face was hydrated i wouldn't want to rip it off my skull. using this, i do. the fragrance is lovely though.

unfortunately i havent noticed it plumping, nor do i feel overly hydrated when i use this. i mean. other than my massive gripes, its a nice face wash. just not for me!

Being 38 I have been looking for a decent cleanser for my ageing skin. I was using another brand but it was too drying and harsh on my skin, so I decided to give this one a go. Well, I can say it has really made a difference to my skin. It’s not overly fragranced and doesn’t sting my eyes if I accidentally get it too close to them. Once rinsed off, my skin feels nice and soft, not tight and dry. I would definitely recommend this product and will continue using

This is lovely stuff. Cleans my face thoroughly but gently. You know how some gel type washes make your skin feel a bit tight, taut and stripped? Not this stuff. This stuff leaves my skin feeling clean but moisturised. Good value, I think I paid about $20. Will repurchase for sure.

I never really thought of a cleanser as being a product that did all that much...other than, well, cleaning skin. They're not where I apportion the majority of my skin care budget, there what I consider a workhorse product, as long as they get the cleansing done with no ill-effect I'm happy.

Well. I was happy. Now the bar hath been lifted thanks to this purple-robed cleanser.

You literally need a 10c sized dab to adequately cleanse your face and neck. The basics of getting rid of grime, foundation etc are a given with this product, and it does it without stripping your skin dry.

But the true effects are felt once you get out of the shower. I don't immediately feel the need to grab my moisturiser to restore softness to my skin. My skin feels soft and moisturised after using this cleanser, and it looks so glowy and healthy.

Now I'm basing this review on just a couple of week's use, but I expect the results to continue with time. My fine lines look plumped up after use and my skin feels tight (in a good, firming way!)

So thanks L'Oreal and Beauty Review for upping my expectations of cleansers and showing me what I've been missing!

The cute purple tube looks lovely and is very functional. The cap is sturdy and the upside-down tube means there will be no product wastage.

After a couple of weeks use my skin is absolutely plumper and smoother, and I like to think less saggy ha!

There's a scent to the product, but its not over-fragranced.

I did find my skin a little dry when using twice a day so I've been using this just at night and I love it!

I would definitely look to repurchase and would recommend to friends.

Confession: I didn't realise Loreal made cleansers, it's just not a brand I think of when I think 'cleanser'!

I've been wowed though! This gel wash is hydrating and feels so luxurious on my skin, it's just so gorgeous to use.

It does what you want a cleanser to do - cleans skin removing dirt, oil and makeup.

My skin feels firmer after the shower and looks refreshed. What more can you ask for?

Packaging: the tube is very functional and the purple is just so pretty!

Formula: It's a gel so it doesn't over foam and doesn't feel really astringent. I've been using in the shower, twice daily and have been really happy with the results.

Results: My skin feels clean after use and it removes my makeup easily.

Does it do what it says: Yes I think so! My skin is plumper and smoother than it was before use.

Would I buy it again: Yes I would!
