Lush Shower Jelly Sweetie Pie

Now if you are trying to save on your household water usage, be warned and don’t buy one of these, as you will be spending hours in the shower playing with this stuff, rather than getting any washing done!

It is a bit pricy yes, especially for the amount that you are getting, but is a delight! It smells gorgeous, and is actually one of my favourite scents from lush! It smells really sweet, like raspberries and Ribena drink! I also love the little pieces of glitter you can see floating around! The smell also lasts a really really long time on the skin which is as always a bonus!

I didn’t really realise how versatile it was until I went in to buy some. The lovely lady told me that I could tear of a chunk and use it many times, or use the whole thing in one go, if I got crazy haha, she also said that it also works like a bubble bar, in that you can hold it under running bath water and create giant bubbles!

It lathers on really well, and like all lush products, foams up greatly! We love foam!! It has a lot of gelatine in it and holds it’s shape very well, but careful, because if you drop it, it doesn’t really work in your favour with the running shower on, and it slimy around and you trying to catch it and pick it up again.

My only tiny complaint is that, when you do tear it and use it, it just turns into jelly mush, as isn’t pleasant and actually looks really kind of gross. Also make sure you drain out that excess water so it doesnt turn into a slushy!

I love buying this for my little cousins! They love playing with it, even when they’re not taking a shower! It would make a great little stocking filler.

This product will bring out the little kid in even the most serious of people! It comes in a clear tub with a screw on lid and is the most beautiful plum colour with a soft glitter running through it. Sweetie Pie smells like berry candy and reminds me of Lush's iconic shower gel ' Snow Fairy' I chose to rip a small piece of the jelly off and use it in lieu of soap- other options include using the jelly whole, using a piece on a loofah, using it frozen or running it under hot water to make bubble bath. Sweetie Pie lather beautifully but beware- it is very wobbly ( funny that, being jelly!) I accidentally dropped my piece and had to chase it around the bath! I was pleased to see I didn't come out like a disco ball, covered in glitter which makes the jelly suitable for daily use. My skin felt really soft afterwards which is due to the fact that Sweetie Pie is made from seaweed which is awesome for your skin. The scent lingered lightly on my skin. I also used this product in my hair and was so pleased with the results- it was cleaned my fine hair and left it soft and shiny and smelling gorgeous!

This shower jelly is such a fun addition to my shower routine. It smells divine and lathers well on the skin. I find it cleanses the skin without stripping it. It doesn't break down when kept in the shower and lasts ages! Plus, while working at Lush I found that kids absolutely adored this product due to the smell and fun wobble element, so I imagine that it would be a great product for parents who struggle with their kids at bath time :)

Oh my goodness this smells good enough to eat!

Have used this a couple of weeks now and I've actually had compliments from people about my skin smelling nice! Have never had that before from any other soap.

The smell lingers through the day also.

Leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

I don't particularly like how it makes my hair feel though so I only use it on my body.

I love the vibrant colour and sparkles through it.

Would make such a neat gift.

I think it is good value for money as a little seems to spread a long way.

Can't wait to try other scents!

This is probably my favourite product from Lush. It is a gelatinous purple soap that smells like blackberries (to me, apparently the scent is actually coconut and cherry) and has glitter. You really couldn't ask for a better product to cheer you up as you shower and get ready to face the day.

This was so cute when I bought it, I had so much fun with it in the bath, in the shower, washing my hands with it too. It got nice and soapy which was great and it smelt devine, this would be a good product to buy as a present for anyone because you know they're going to enjoy it.

When I read the description on the cute little tub this came in, I had to have a giggle. I think its amazing that Lush is all about preventing animal cruelty, and they are definitely all about having us love our bodies.

This jelly is a gorgeous dark purple, and smells like jelly beans. I thought the smell lasted a decent amount of time on the body and it's very fun to just watch after you've given the jar a good shake, too. I have to say though, trying to break off a piece of it - my jelly wasn't having any of it! I nearly needed to get scissors or a knife, and because it's slippery, it was even harder to break.

Another (unfortunate) downside to this product is that because its jelly, if you take that bad boy in the shower with you... Watch out it doesn't go down the plug hole. I dropped my small piece about 20 bazillion times. And I found that it didn't break down/dissolve that quickly so you're standing there, trying to rub this slippery devil over your body and it doesn't want a bar of you, it wants to join the rest of its brethren down the tubes.

However! Add a chunk of this to your bath, and it is heavenly. Again, doesn't dissolve that quickly but while you sit in the bath you can give yourself a wash with it without the fear of it going down the tubes.

I love love love lush shower jelly !! i have tried quite afew and this would be one of my favourites.The smell is amaazing and the fragrance sticks around after you wash it off lasting a while. The texture is really nice and it feels really soft and silky. A bonus is that its natural , i love natural beauty products, lush is divine .The only bad thing is Its a little difficult to wash all over because it gets very slippery and isnt easy to hold onto.

I really love using lush products. This shower jelly smelt so good. I really do love using natural made products especially lush items but the down side was that the shower jelly is so hard to use. I keep dropping it in the shower & it didnt really do much for my skin beside smelly good but overall I still like this product. :)
